Finally back infront of a screen, how has the system been going today? Strong up day so I would guess very well!!

yes, as level increases(+profit) your stop will follow at point distance you've manually set

HDB..settings/preferences on IG - "enable trailing stops"  but imo better closing out manually especially in smaller spread/return unless trade is riding deep profit

Thanks Delta...I now changed it to trailing..

 

So juts enlighten me here... if im long at say 44000 and use a trailing stop of 100.

 

1.Will this automatically put my stop at 43900? or should I first set stop at 43900 and then trailing stop at 100?

2. if price goes to 43950, I presume my stop will still be 43900 and wont adjust to 43850?

3. if price goes to 44200, my trailing stop will be 44150 right?

look at longer time frames from 10 min to an hour!! All gave one buy signal in morning till now..and all making one big vault!!

Yes that's the big advantage of this system...Absolutely no stress!

 

Signal given, do the trade, insert stop and walk away and let it take care of itself..with trailing stop of cos!!

hit my trailing stop 44962 but on 6 micro's still come out smiling and no stress

throwing down tight stop at 44945. maybe a bit tight but trading over R2 on longs is risky if i'm stopped out it'll be for a few points rather than loss

now to see if action remains above R2

added 2 contracts ave 44928..speculative bet but i think we'll see R2 break..cci exhibiting similar pattern with bounce (10:10-10:15am) around -70

MM playing games again...took dow futures down to scare of the weak longs!!

i went back in long on 44930..thought was gonna pay for that at time but hey ho..heave ho!
