its broke through R2 as well...so now use that  as support...if it falls back to R2 you could add to existing longs depending on your risk profile...

 

next target R3!!

note guys: Today no shorts even if CCI falls below 0..rather wait for it to go down and as it turns go long.!!

treat it as a pullback to go long unless something drastic happens like pound falls or dow goes negative!!

Well play it like this till at least before 2pm!!

Rule : don't trade before 9.30   ....can break rule to only trade after 9am when market shows its hands...ie fair value of underlying...anything else is speculation!!

There were a couple of signals during the night and early this morning that could have worked.

heya Ocean..would be great to hear how the 10min works out.  today safe to say trend will prob be UP but still early, will be placing trades on signals using the 5min window.  good luck to me and others

using 10m HDB CCI on 10 min using 3ma crossing 10ma and CCI - currently using 20  prds on CCI - suggestions for better periods??

 

I then set this up with IG indicator cell phone alerts - works to get my attention

not a good day to trade any system. Market all over the place!

Lesson learnt...

 

I tried to neat/override my system and went long just watching the dow fly...

 

Stopped out at 44450!
