Hi pilot
Thanks for all the accurate and continuous updates man. The novice traders out here really appreciate it.
Just looking at your excel spreadsheet sum formula for the weekly return.. did you forget to include NPN, SOL and CFR in your current profit/ loss for the week, or are you excluding them for a particular reason?
Thanks man enjoy the rugby
Thanks Rick for pointing out the mistake, I corrected it on the new sheet attached.

Morning Everyone
Attached is the weekly update on the portfolio.
This week the portfolio made R31400 (11.35%), which is mid range in the 5-15% that I am aiming for weekly. The exposure this week has been lower than previous weeks, but still a good return. The portfolio is up to R308 400 (54%) for the 4 weeks, and on Wednesday it will be a full month of trading.
For the week ahead.
The ALSI has bounced of it's 7 year bull support and has shown divergence (but only short term). This will be an interesting scenario to see which way we are going. The ASLI is still below its 200d wma @ 51910 and should go up to test it on Monday. It's only 0.42% away, and the closing price on Monday will indicate if there is enough momentum for a recovery, and if this is just a short term bounce. My feeling is the latter, as the longer term indicator are still showing more downside to come.
The weekly indicators are also showing no sign of a turnaround yet.
The portfolio is still mainly bearish, with most shares trading in their downtrend and I am still sticking with most short positions, although Monday might be a red day for the portfolio.
Enjoy the weekend and the rugby. (I'm off to watch the clash of the weekend, at Newlands and my son is dying to meet Duane "die bus is vol" Vermeulen)
Cheers
P
Ps. Will post next week's spread sheet on Sunday evening.

Morning Everyone
Attached is the updated portfolio with some new orders I'm adding for today. The exposure has been lower than normal, but still a very good week thus far.
The trend is still down and a few new triggers has been hit to the downside. Only MPC has triggered a long trade, but the entry is way below yesterday's close. Have my doubts if it will trade.
Enjoy your day. (will be back at around 12:00)

NPN broke down out of a huge H&S so short and hold bigtime!
Should have sticked to my first view on this bullmarket that topped in April!

The magic number for closing today is R20-21, but R20-40 would be better. Yesterdays close will be regarded as a false break, and we are back in the trend, if we close R20-21 or better. There will be more resistance @ R20-20, so be weary of that.
If it doesn't break back in the trend, there will be better buying opportunities in the weeks to come.
See the chart attached.
