Sorry you cannot assume because PIC has decided to throw money at LON that they actually looked at the risk. I am just glad my pension money is not part of it, and if it was, I would have asked WTF ?

Im pretty confident now that the consolidation is concluded and with Lonmin strategy to be put in place, the share price hopefully to pick up early next year. PIC now holds 30% of LON, A portion of government pensions are tied up in LON. In my opinion, government wont allow for LON to crash again or for the next year or two.

Tempted to buy small %
Well the thread is headed "where's the bottom" ...I'll stick my colon on the block & say 21-23c is the bottom.
Share consolidation will skew things slightly & make exiting at a small loss more palatable....

@jaDEB
Check the last few SENS releases they indicate that the global players are reducing their holdings.

Find it strange that my rights still shows on my profile but it was closed on last friday ... when does this expire from your profile
They remain on your profile while all the info of who bought/sold/let lapse is collated...Then the amounts are allocated/deducted so the exact amount of new shares are dispensed correctly & the company receives it dues.....Hope this helps.

Hi
Think Lonmin will be flat for a while.
BUT some word of advice, be a look out for 1 - 4 shares trade and bursts of 3x high volume consecutive trades as they are good signs of a pump and dump. Was monitoring CZA the last time they did this. Also set a notification when this share gets pushed.
Pretty sure we will see a quick short pretty soon.
Although this is only a opinion and take no responsibility of stupidity
