I have a feeling this stock will reach R0.15

I would hope not soon! However, post-consolidation definitely....

5% for every 1c. Might take some time though because there are massive offers, but I like the strategy. LON will still survive for at least a couple of months so there is time to lock it in.

bought 100 000 at 20c during auction. I expect some sort of bounce. Will take profits quickly

The new shares (the rights that were converted) start trading on the JSE the 4th while those on the London register will only commence trading on the 11th. Add that to your list of strange that is following this company at the moment.

So what will happen on Friday when the new shares start trading? I recon everyone that picked it up at 22c will try and sell for quick profit circa 25c. Think I might offload half my shares that way and lock in some profits. Hopefull strange forces keep the price above 40c before the roller coaster comes crashing down. strap yourselves in!

Lonmin about to shed half its value. Went straight into volatility auction when markets opened.

Did you not get rights if you owned the shares?

I am led to believe that only people who held shares prior to the announcement of the rights can trade in these rights. This could be very wrong but was one of the explanations given to me by a colleague

Your colleague probably doesn't work in the investment industry. The rights are listed (like any other share) and anyone is free to trade in them.

Can someone help me understand why people are paying 75c for a share when the npls allow us to get it for around 20c??

You would have been down 50% now mate trying to short during a short squeeze lol.  Probably back down by next week though.

Only a short squeeze, cause no new shorts can be added :)

Now ... if IG allowed me to short, I would sell the counter all the way down from 60cents...
