Volumes are low so far today, 3,258,000 traded so far. I agree with DTD, the general market outlook for the day is red.

Well we either getting 0 on this thing or 50 bucks plus, I am in on either extreme.

Yes I think  the liquidation  application by the  TT guys probably now  the main reason why the share is not moving up a bit. It was  steadily trading down from JSE closure on Friday  to close at  292 equivalent in Frankfurt  at 22:00 hrs.
I think a lot of it is  due to confusion in Europe about the GS and court cases and the shareholders'  that seem to focus mainly on the bad  Media about steinhoff.

Maybe the good news about Pepco moving into Austria will put a small rocket under the share price. tomorrow. Its going to be interesting

I also read somewhere that   Van Huyssteen said that  TT will use their profits made from that sale of part of TT to  Actis for legal costs against steinhoff
I find this hard to believe because if all that money is still in the bank then Mr Tekkie's  36 shops  must have also been grown organically from shop to shop  as they grew Tekkie Town shops.
i

Start to feel very sorry for the TT old boys at the end they will have very little and their lawyers all driving Bentlies!!

Always last miles of the journey are the longest….
Since a couple of us are long on this one, let’s put things in perspective and look at what has happened so far, meaning all the good, if not excellent since the accounting scandal was revealed.
A complete turn around of the Group, a management that is working tirelessly towards the resurrection of this flagship, a Group value which has tremendously increased and the Group owns some profitable gems with solid balance sheet, a GS that has been approved by all creditors, ok yet to be sanctioned by the Courts, but the direction is right.
Even a share value that has been increasing *5 from its lowest over 52w, surely giving hope to many individual and institutional shareholders
That is why amongst other things I genuinely, sincerely, continue to strongly believe into SNH. That is why I also think that beyond ratios, legal opinions, court cases, offensive articles, emotional opinions of TT guys (who I considered thugs for that matter / sorry), common sense will prevail and those who have been patient will be nicely rewarded
Of course I can be totally wrong. Of course stupidity exists also with educated and high profile individuals which can result in funny rulings. Still. Call me naive, but I do not believe for one second that douzains of thousands of employees will be laid off, douzains of thousands of shareholders will (once again) lose everything, because two bruised emotional guys are asking for a Group which is fundamentally not any longer insolvent to be liquidated.
And if if if they could be successful with this case, well, they’d be better change look, country and name

Pepco moving into Austria first opening 23rd September and expected 20 shops buy December.

I wonder how many Mr Tekkie shops will be open during the same period.

So the GS is still not approved, I find it difficult to keep up with what the fook is going on.

So next is the 30 September court date for GS ? Any more after this ?

the court cases.... October now before we hopefully see a settlement

For me GS and TT liquidation is two seperate cases. For S155 to be implemented requires 75% of the votes. On the meeting claimant parties voted 100% in favour. My understanding of GS is the registered claimants. Therefore in view that TT old boys did not register they are a outside party to the settlement and have no say.

So for me its straight forward on 30th Sep the GS will be approved. In october the Tt case resumes with a short outcome and the best lots of costs to TT old boys.

Green beer time!

B) ...Braam v H.

Haha this must be surely the joke of the year!!! So now they are trying to help out the creditors that voted in favor of the settlement because they were too stupid to see it was not a good deal!

What happened to the world of free thinking and decision. So now creditors need to thank TT old boys for their concern and guidance!!!

This is now ready for Hollywood movies and maybe even a request to the Pope for sainthood!!!!
