I just felt like whining. I would have expected more from Moneyweb though

Pepco holding strong, up more than 10% at 44 Euros,
Market Cap now 5,6 Bill Euros, up 510m Euros and SNH have retained 78,9%.
Mr Market must now just 'catch a wakeup', we've come a long way over the past 3 years!
all of this is of no consequence...Only positive Global settlement and court case outcomes will move this price upward significantly..methinks

I would think any institution know what is going on and aware of the listing. Individuals might not be that informed. Just really surprised that when looking at Moneyweb the Pepco listing only appears under the fast news category. In my view it should be one of the top stories. Current top story is "Balwin Properties announces BEE deal"???????
Let there be bad news then it is top story, let there be something positive and it gets treated as fast news. I suspect institutions probably waiting for the outcome of the court cases.
Don´t you know SA media does not announce SNH good news they just focus on negativity

Don't underestimate the games of Billionaires. I don't think the price will move much before the settlement and then Christo Wiese can buy back his shares at discount.
If is sounds unreal then check the story of Hulk Hogan vs Gawker. Peter Thiel funded the whole lawsuit to liquidate Gawker just because they called him ***.

SNH just released a sense stating that they received 1billion Euro from the listing that will go towards paying debt. Is this not positive....or did Mr Market expect moreThis is probably a beaten horse.
But Mr Market doesn't make any sorts of sense ( or cents ) to me.
2 months ago we had a bit drive to R2,90 for no reason other than a few rulings in our favour and decent looking results.
Today that same company with the same rulings and the same results are trading at 30% less and only bumped up by the last 2 days because of the PEPCO listing. The PEPCO listing that was always going to happen (even with the pump to R2.90)
I know that there are 3 court cases being defended this week, but they were really always on the cards and always going to happen. Ex Tekkie Town has been fighting for their piece of the pie since the shares came tumbling.
All the subsidiaries are looking good. There is a new listing. There is some debt being paid back. So what exactly has got the market so cautious and spooked? If anyone could shed some light. Or is it just the impatience of the institutions that want profits now and end up seeking it elsewhere and decidedly dump the shares in favour of a quicker buck somewhere else?

Haha the Hamiltons and Trevos expecting board to out guess Deloite and PWC in 2014!!!
Practically, they cannot have the kind of oversight required to mitigate all fraud and that is why you have internal and external auditors who give you a level of certainty.
But the board are ultimately responsible for the results, fraudulent or not. Bit of a catch 22.
