So SNH bought Tekkie Town with 300 stores. Now Takkie Town has 421 stores (https://tekkietown.c...a-store-locator)

Thats a 40% increase. The 42% share holding of SNH bought by cash would give it 126 stores and Tekkie Town old boys 174 stores.

Therelore SNH should give them back the 174 stores and keep the rest 247 stores. Using my calculation its very clear by now the old boys is actually now a minority holding of 41%.

Haha time for green beer!

I think what is forgoten on this Tekkie Town talk is that SNH owns 42% bought from Actis so all the Tekkie Town old boys can get is 58% of the business.

In reality the Tekkie Town business no longer belongs to Mr. Heyssteen so he is bending the truth.

I think his viewpoint is a bit faulty. Creditors always get the most in a settlement as they would in a liquidation. They legally have first rights in these kind of situations but I'm not sure if there is a precedent for less in settlement scenarios?

Yes I agree what he forgets is if the creditors did not jump in and took all the risk there would be no Steinhoff today!! Now that things are looking good again he want to be a equal when he took absolutely no risk saving Steinhoff!!!

Interesting interview:

http://www.capetalk....teinhoff-assets

Naidoo probably received massive bonuses at the time when he took the money from The PiC . Now he want to cry foul why don't he pay the money back. Didn't he do his research before investing like all other normal shareholders do?

I am still convinced Jooster did nothing illegal.

He simply used the accounting standards to a different level because he was guided by the same accounting experts.

That's a bold statement cotton  :P

I think he is guilty and he knows it. Why send the SMSs to close friends when the whole thing came down?

Accounting standards are designed to not allow you to manipulate financials in this manner. There are definitely still loopholes but the size of this fraud is just not something you should be able to hide.

But surely they need to recover from Jooste and his pals including Wiese Louis etc why do we have to bear the cost of their fraudulent behavior?

What fraudulent behavior has Louis engaged in? Please share your source as this is new information.
