But then their other websites should follow the same WHOIS structure (California, Enom); they don't: https://www.whois.co...settlement.com

They do actually - Last row listed below

Could well be the case. The more I look the more it adds up or otherwise someone is trying to fool the market.

More info below:

Website was created by a Californian entity:

Gilardi is based in California:

Am I missing something? All the Gilardi websites have a different structure, and the 'Steinhoff' site looks very fake except for the URL being the same ... Happy to be wrong, but I'm gonna wait for the SENS :)

I would imagine its because Gilardi are administering the whole thing and they can control all the info on their own website as opposed to keep having to ask Steinhoff to update theirs.

Gilardi specialises in settlements of this nature. If you check their website and navigate to active cases you'll see a long list of cases that they are currently working on for massive mutlinationals. https://www.gilardi.com/active-cases

Moreover if you click on on one of the companies e.g. SQM Securities, it navigates you to a website http://www.sqmsecuri...settlement.com/ which is the exact same format as the new steinhoff website with the same intro wording.

Amazing stuff!

I see its associated with ComputerShare which is a global financial administration company and the website was created by Gilardi which is part of the Computershare group.

cant even imagine why they would need a separate site for this.....why not the corporate site?....complete skull f@@.k

Not complaining, beer is on ice, but any reason why you are saying so?

Anticipation on next week, judging from pre historic trends...

DeltaHedge, the hearing on the 8th Feb is another seperate issue, Conservatorium, probably understanding that their objection to the  approval of the settlement scheme 26th and 27th Jan will fail, are attempting to have a restructuring expert appointed to SNH.

This SENS notice posted by the Company Earlier,

"...a hearing has been scheduled for 8 February 2020 in the Amsterdam District Court following a recent request by Conservatorium Holdings LLC to appoint a restructuring expert to SIHNV pursuant to Article 371 of the Dutch Bankruptcy Act,,,, "

My view is that they are grasping at straws, if they wanted to follow this route, they should have done so ages ago. The Company has over the past 3 years already proved that it took restructuring seriously, appointed some of the best 'turn around' specialists, had a clear plan in place and now have the results to prove the success of the plan. I dont believe they will be successul on Feb 8th and also dont believe the hearing to come will have any bearing on the outcome of the 26th and 27th Jan court proceedings we are waiting for (and which I believe is a formality)!

On a sidenote, massive volume on Tradegate yesterday!

thanks!

Correct, the November judgement was as approval granted to Steinhoff to obtain approval for the settlement, which they then did in December and then return to the court with the outcome which took place on 26th Jan for 'Final Approval', which is the news we are now waiting for!

From the Court Judgement, it seems that all the options were examined and the court implied that if settlement was acceptable to the Creditors, (majority rule applying) it should be approved. Just to ensure that once agreed, the final sanction of the court would mean that the settlememnt stands!

Given the thorough attention paid to Approved Judgement, it is understandable that this judge is going to write a similar detailed ruling which I personally feel confident is going to be positive, given his previous view.

What makes us nervous is the time that is passing but hey, just step back and look at the facts, EVERYTHING is going as planned, just turn off the computer and put the champayne on ice!!!

Thanks for the explanation. So what does the hearing on the 8th of February entail?
