Some of you chaps must be on the edge of your seats with this. The hearing was over two days so I am guessing they would need time to formulate a response. Unfortunately the fact remains that Conservatorium made it clear that they would appose a positive outcome...on what grounds remains to be seen. Holding thumbs!

Let's hope there is positive news tomorrow, will be interesting to see what happens. Hasn't been any major uptick on tradegate, after jse closed....so holding thumbs

Oh boy no news before JSE close. And nothing has leaked no where. Why are they not doing a press release of the outcome?

So you expect a Steinhoff announcement today on the UK hearing? Or are you following some other source? I would btw look forward to a run-through of the financials post-settlement, and your work has been greatly appreciated before

Yes I'm expecting a SENS today. They need to inform the shareholder of the outcome of the meeting. I just hope Conservatorium didn't cause any issues. If the scheme is not approved today we will run into issues and the share price will drop hard.

But if its approved the loan repayment will be shifted till 2023 and the global settlement is good to be implemented. Then the share price will rise sharply the next few months.

STEINHOFF INVESTMENTS: DIVIDEND TO PREFERENCE SHAREHOLDERS

 

The board of directors of the Company has declared a gross dividend of 292.42295 cents per

share, payable on Monday 26 April 2021 in respect of the period 1 July 2020 to 31 December

2020 (“the Preference Dividend” ), payable to the shareholders, recorded in the books of the

Company at the close of business on Friday 23 April 2021, of the 15 000 000 cumulative, non-

redeemable, non-participating, variable rate preference shares issued by the Company (“the

Preference Shares”)

 

At the date of declaration there were 15 000 000 (Fifteen million) Preference Shares in issue.

 

The Preference Dividend will be payable in the currency of South Africa and will be subject to

a local dividend tax rate of 20%. This will result in a net dividend of 233.93836 cents per

Preference Share, unless the Preference Shareholder is exempt from dividend tax or is entitled

to a reduced rate in terms of an applicable double-tax agreement. Steinhoff Investments’

income tax reference number is 9375/046/71/2.

Just love being vindicated from all the doomslayers and am glad I stayed on this bus,...with all thats still to come, its going to be a great ride to "recovery" and I'm not climbing off but going to cherish the ride and well earned wait.
Management have done an incredible job in very strategically steering the ship through very stormy waters (and in spite of all the critics) now, only smooth sailing from here on.
