Geez guys I don't think you understand the current situation Steinhoff is currently facing.

They are in the middle of settling legal claims worth around 10 Billion €. As Ldp has mentioned numerous times that if this proposal is not accepted Steinhoff will struggle for years to come as the outcome of any settlement is uncertain.

At this point in time he cannot give any predictions on the future. Yes he has mentioned that the operating units are performing exceptionally well. Just look at Q3 numbers. Yes he has mentioned the goal is to stay a global retail investment holding company.

Also, as soon as these legal claims have settled most of the points for a clean audit opinion will dissappear and a clean audit opinion will attract bigger potential investors.

There where only 13% of the actual shares present. That is a complete joke haha. that means that the shares are all in the hands of jittery shareholders.

Overall how I see the AGM:
- Very good Q3 results
- GS is on track and we might get some news in the following 2 weeks. For me this is the most important point to clear.
- looks like the lenders will extend until 2023
- management did look professional
- unfortunately not all resolutions where passed. Management will now have to reassess the remuneration policy. They can't do much on the financial statements so I think that will be voted on again in the next AGM. Interesting to see that PIC has abstained from that votes.

But listening to CEO speak today was most disappointing. He behaves like he has done shareholders a great favour. But i still struggle to see what has he done. He provides nothing positive about the outlook so why does the company need to waste on management like that.

It was disappointing that yesterday basically turned out to be a non event, however, as Andi alluded to previously, their neutral to negative rhetoric is probably to persuade claimants to accept the proposed settlement.

What I do know, is that price doesn’t trade in a tight range forever, no matter which asset or instrument. So I had to remind myself of the time frame that I was willing to wait when I bought this share.

Tradegate not happy at all...so i guess the litigation is our next hope? Not feeling positive at the moment, but then again nothing seems to be normal with regard to the markets right now.

“One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. Which road do I take? she asked. Where do you want to go? was his response. I don't know, Alice answered. Then, said the cat, it doesn't matter.” - Lewis Carroll

Check out David Hunter on twitter, he is an Economist and has proven himself with the calls he has made.

He has podcasts on his view of where the world is heading.

Ya he is calling a global deflationary bust but first he is calling S&P to reach 4000 due to the fed's money printing.

At the end of the day who really knows.

I find it impressive if S&P reach 4000 in the coming months.

Globally? I look forward to your thoughts.

I don’t know much mate, but I do know it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Wealthy countries are strapping in to ride this out until a vaccine is approved.

Some Economists are calling for a deflationary bust to happen and quite soon in fact, lets hope this is not true

Looking at the current global crises, I believe Snh is in a great position to create a successful and valuable company for all stakeholders.

I think the global economy will remain under pressure until around Easter next year, whereafter things should start to improve, but gradually

Good results for Q3 especially considering that GDPs are contracting by far higher %'s.
