What I'd also like to add, we seen today how snh changed numbers, 1 week before 2017 afs.... Weve also seen on here how ppl put up figures with confidence and keep asking for evidence... So how geniune are those figures when snh itself are not sure

When it's in black and white and has a signature to it... Those are the numbers u work with... Not thumb sucked ones... I wonder who's talking kak

What I have noticed with this share, such is the volatility, charts don't mean much...is the reason I took off with Milo before but said nothing today with cup and saucer comment.... Technicals on the other hand provides info... But this volatility could mess with that to an extent

So we get 7.2 billion euro audited intangible assets. Not too bad as I'm sure they have used the lower end of the valuation.

Great response DTd, i dont watch snh thread much all im saying people like know why an opinion....like me saying with no techs on it i hate multichoice..at moment great trading share and i have..but i personally think rip off and if they don't reform for the market are scr wd when booty runs out...but my opinion and not based on technicals or cuurrent financials thats all ok...yaa know what i mean

IN that the problem I have for me its difficult to work out is the price set in SA or Frankfurt. Every time I think that I got it it throws me out.
So now I believe JSE price and Frankfurt complement each other but I cannot find evidence that one leads the other.

The best is look at the tradegate price before JSE open convert it to the going exchange rate.

IN let me help also with the open.
Tradegate opens at 0800h Germany time which is the same as SA then look at the going price and convert it into rands then you get the price it should be in SA.
If the price in SA is below that price tyhen buy it at the open put your order at 08:50h on the JSE and buy the share at auction then soon alter open with in seconds the JSE price virtually matches trade gate.
To give you a example this morning tradegate price was showing that SA price should be R2-04 but in the JSE there were people selling at R1.96.
I bought all those shares and sold then a few minutes later for R2.04 for a good profit (4%). This happens every morning and can also go the other way so I short it in that case.

Thanks Midas.... I would like to get a sense of the valuation post the numbers commitment. You may say that's not relevant here with all the law suits etc... But I am still pro this company as part of my high risk portfolio allocation. Maybe sentimental and hoping a succesful turnaround and job sparing... Whether a crap invesent or not there is money to be made trading this share...

IN I still am very positive on SNH but I am also a realist and bad news seems to knock the share for a 6 even though it was already expected.

Even now the NAV is still E0.46 or R7.37 and still generating cash with its business so don't be guided by charts or technical analysis SNH trades simply and purely in sentiment with lots of people shorting.

I found it amazing this morning people were talking technicals and I just could not believe it that's why I said the formation of the cup in the graphs was to catch the tears of the pumpers.

SNH will recover again once the final restructure is in place!

IN hi,, imo there are lots respectable people on the all threads..but on snh also some viable but its a bit of a wild card share and few wild boys playing wild games...read all threads with caution..your brain your money....DTD don't go for me and not put at you..but .IN just wants reasoning

Yes im sure...key is to know when duck out or duck in again and frankly i cant help with this one as nerve wracking and cant see reasoning yet..but with proper info maybe there is good reasoning what do
