I agree. I have stayed in as I have confidence that the new management team will turn things around. Not an easy thing to do but still doable. I have been impressed with how Heather Sonn conducts herself and I believe what she says. The best outcome for all parties is important and that includes shareholders. This will all take time to achieve so watching it daily is like looking for miracles unless you are a trader only then it has been a gift horse of note. That will change as progress is made i think.

Fortunately the amount of BS posted on here is not read by SNH management and affects absolutely nothing.
From the start this was a mammoth task for the NEW management to resolve.
LDP, new CEO, and other staff has done an exceptional job.
That is the only reason all of you are still hopeful in SNH one year later after the Markus Jooste debacle.
Anyone with finance and auditing experience would know that this issue was not going to be resolved within a year...
If SNH management continue with the great work they're busy with and rescue the company, even in a completely different form, they will gather much respect in all realms of the business world.

And what I've noticed, when snh started turning things around, the market started pumping and I've seen good gains, but when the delays, lies and excuses started, even with good news like MF out of bankruptcy, markets response was dismal.

So I've learnt, follow the market, coz market not dof haha and I think the market is tired of the excuses and delays.... When u commit to something u do it, when u start comming with excuses then ya f off

I kept saying snh needs a culture change and it's evident the only way that can happen is if they fire the whole damn lot and start with the CEO first.

Twice now he lied, 20oct LUA agreement and that pwc report which he said will be issued in stages. Absolutely nothing ambiguous in what he said either and it's what I diarised. But it's in his profession to lie and built into his character, so I don't see change happening there.

I did not know a company could self suspend, it was ellies competitor I think that did it. So ask yourself why didn't snh do same. They had that discussion in their boardroom and ruled against it. That would've been the right thing to do but noooooo, they chose not to.

SNH has everything in place to turn this business around but they do not have that ethical leadership.

My opinion, they fuucked in the long run.

But I will more than likely be back to play the short run :D

Not only SNH has inside trading, many other share also clearly have inside trading, and the JSE, the FSCA, and other regulators are doing noting about it.

Like I noticed many shares suffer a sudden sell off and price dropping without any news in the public domain about the share, and people buy thinking it's just a down swing and an opportunity to buy, and then the next day a SENS comes out with bad news and the share drops even further.

Tom Tom Tom..

You blaming everybody else besides yourself in every one of your posts..

When investing, you must know when to buy , how much to buy  and when not to buy..

Anyway you will learn but still pay a helva lot of school fees...

Its time spent studying markets even before you start investing big will give you the experience on how , when and how much to buy..

This is the market and any market works like this...

Cleva money selling, dumb money buying and bag holders looking for excuses....

PwC is paid with the shareholders money, and yet they are harming the share holders by not finishing their job on time, and the longer they delay the more the share holders have to lose, while the more they will be paid, and so far they still refuse to release any of their work to show us the progress they're making (if any).
And this work should actually be Deloitt work, which they were paid with share holders money to do actively and on time, and not wait for the last month of the year to announce that they will not sign the financials, and that they want auditors approved by themselves (while paid by the shareholders money), while they are the appointed auditors and this was their job, and instead of admitting the wrong doing and try to fix it in a professional way, they went acting like heroes who don't want to sign.

Tom I think the only question to ask is why has JSE not suspended this share.... They excuse that it is secondary listing is all balls!

We see the value that's trading on this share daily... Jse is minting it why would they suspend. They are party to the corruption!

And come April next year snh announce another extension? Very much likely and more ppl will loose their monies

I think a trading update will be coming soon for 2018Q3, and I (purely speculate) that it will be good (I might be right and I might be wrong, I myself don't know).

We should expect the trading update for Q4, not sure if adjustments for MF will be reflected. The March Q1 update most certainly will have a better looking MF scenario and will be a pump opportunity

Hi Lionel,

You jumped ship before me. I am at R35000 loss with SNH at the moment but I am just ignoring it all.

lol my entire portfolio (9 equities) is at a R90 000 loss.

But I am not as stressed because i spread risk.....the last time I put alot in SNH alone and also jumped with a loss....

Good Luck!

Hi Lady M.... Thought u jumped ship as haven't seen u post. Yea I took a 400k knock on snh.... Might come in again next Feb for the LUA... But it's touch and go coz they always extending. I still have choppies and aveng left but I'm leaving it... Not adding, not drawing.

Best of luck on ur portfolio!

i dont blame the ceo L...this thingie is too complicated and complex...

we have values of R4.00 up to R20.00 being posted here bu some very confident posters...Well all i can say is there are some seriously good actuaries  in the markets who would have picked up value here if there was...but this share has never been above R4.00 last 6 months....so imo its not worth much..

Another very bright red day in the world markets! Naspers 4.68% down. So such a great company down not big deal for SNH to be 9.5% down
