Hi Lionel, 

 

You jumped ship before me.  I am at R35000 loss with SNH at the moment but I am just ignoring it all.

 

lol my entire portfolio (9 equities) is at a R90 000 loss.

 

But I am not as stressed because i spread risk.....the last time I put alot in SNH alone and also jumped with a loss....

I agree with your view. The comments from Heather Sonn on the restructuring progress are not negative. I would rather wait and have a complete report that addresses all the issues then the business can move forward.

Exactly this Steinhoff needs a good cleaning to start afresh.

Yes if the share is so bad why is there no huge volumes selling? I still maintain my R20 in three years time!

i dont blame the ceo L...this thingie is too complicated and complex...

 

we have values of R4.00 up to R20.00 being posted here bu some very confident posters...Well all i can say is there are some seriously good actuaries  in the markets who would have picked up value here if there was...but this share has never been above R4.00 last 6 months....so imo its not worth much..

I mean come on, u guys seem to be doing this for a while, and the fact that this share has not been suspended must spell corruption right? And the way I see it, if there's corruption involved.... Stay away... Unless ur corrupt urself you will know how to play it haha

And sure snh has assets.... But when ur business is screwed as they are.... No wayz will they get the price they ask for should they wanna sell

And personally... I do not think there's any value in snh.... I mean they running a business on other people's money, nothing to boast about there.... Day I end up in that situation I close doors and open a spaza shop...

Totally agree it's complex.... Disagree that u do not blame the CEO. I've never looked at value in snh, I saw how the markets reacted with the "progress" snh was Making and I decided to play that. So I bought in again after he shot his mouth in the parliamentary process which turned out to be Lies!!!

And what is he? Ex attorney or something? Go figure.... They'll do anything if they're paid to do so
