I think he wants to buy back at 160c, 170c, 180c (with a final push at 185c, 186c), he's making a lot of money, it's been months, out of this emotional share.
He tries to shock people and play on their emotions.

They selling today at R1.90 to buy back at R1.87 tomorrow morning! Haha

That's not really a short. They just selling their shares.

If someone tries to break his blockage, he might go into a buy or sell spree, depends which side of the blockage you end up at.

Yes, the 190c of yesterday's closing auction, don't know when will he finishes because we can't see what volume he still has, so you had a reason to sell.

Something is brewing...for a long. Not sure why. Many more bids than sells suddenly.
Maybe the one that bought at 183, 184, 185, 186c... yesterday between 10am and 12 noon, tried to sell 2 million shares yesterday at the end for 190c, but only sold 0.5 million shares, and today i's slowly selling 190 since the start, and at the same time showing big lower price numbers on buy offer, just to push people to buy his 190c, that why the 190c offers keeps ice burg showing, of course plus other smaller and medium offers (I think maybe).
Also remember it used to be always more bid in the past 2 months, and yet the price kept falling.

Interesting as I predicted my thoughts before was that SNH will be trading debt for share so this fits in with my theory there will be no PEPKOR share sold they going to be exchanged for debt. Love the green beer.

A sens about the initial 17Q3 results might come as early as this week, and the detailed numbers are expected on 7 Dec (I think).
