Some trends... Lots of speculation and traders wanting to make a buck.. So this share can climb and fall sporadically.
Legal challenges and all crap... Already factored into share price which is less that of kap... Star.....or the value of individual businesses... Conforama valued by an analyst as r7 a share...
Legal case for r185 may be settled but after a long legal battle... And only a fraction of that is for snh... The majority for the fraudsters... Directors and directors insurance.. Bankers... Etc...
Whats the price of the share... Well think of it like this... If Naspers came to buy all the 4 billion shares what would they pay per share... I think about r11.
Snh being at R1, OR R7 VERY PLAusible as that's the trade auction price...
One defiant trend... Share can spike and can fall...

Fact. At the moment the company is not a going concern. Go fathom what this means.

Trading is one of the only fields where genuine con artists/scammers will urge you to “be careful of con artists/scammers.”

Thanks for the reply. It is a little above my pay grade.

If I understand you correctly, it is going back to R1.8 due to short squeeze attempt, and if this does not retrace all the way it might go up and past R2.30 or go crazy all together.

Take into account the sens was released late on Friday and I know there’s a trade cutoff on easy equities of 16:45
There might be quite some demand tomorrow.

Not sure about other platforms

Keeping impartial so logic stays intact..however i also believe Peter Wakkie, who was heavily involved in Dutch retailer Royal Ahold NV’s restructuring ( this was successful restructuring as well)

If there was one chance to take in a life time, this is probably it.

Except it your avg price is R20 plus....then your grand kinds might enjoy it.

Correct me if im wrong but in case Icelandic bank didnt he successfully restructure in his position? Agree high risk...cannot see weise getting anything afterall he was a director..i think he sued in advance knowing he would be called up..im a director and cant imagine sueing my company cause didn't get what was going on with my setup ..🙄..tekkie town also a little unusual...

He did, by making customers shareholders of the bank and the Iceland government putting the bank execs behind bars.

“A consortium of law firms has applied to launch a class-action lawsuit in the South Gauteng high court on behalf of investors in Steinhoff, seeking damages that could potentially run to as much as R185b”
https://www.business...gins-in-joburg/

Hectic...Even if he manages to turn it around, what will that equate to in the long run if this case is successful?

See the tech view from one twitter user. Recons it will go up to with the 3 primary wave. (Elliott wave theory)

Fake Elliott counting. Absolutely not Elliott aware at all.

The closing blip appears to be a Russian fat finger short squeeze attempt.

Gets interesting if not at least full retrace of the blip for minor wave (ii). The blip probably then the minute wave i of minor wave (iii) and then listen for snorting after the retrace [minute wave (ii)]

Moves are sudden or dragged out so be patient but constantly on your toes.

  1. Trusting strangers on an anonymous chat forum can be a risky business. Even more risky than the stock market.
  2. I have tried to warn the vulnerable, being those without adequate savvy: e.g.: https://swrict.blogspot.com/2018/11/sharechat-warning.html
  3. Vultures circle hereabouts. Give them control and say goodbye to your money.

This would take a really long time for courts settle anything..then there would be appeals etc..if stn bankrupt then everyone will get much less..

1. They’ve just appointed an insolvency veteran to the board, helpful but ominous.
2. Christo wiese is suing for 59bn.
3. Tekkie Town parties are suing for €120mil
4. GT Ferreira is suing for €100 mil
5. This excludes burnt shareholder class actions.

“If these legal claims have legitimacy, then Steinhoff is not solvent,” Graeme Korner, a money manager at Johannesburg-based Korner Perspective, said by phone Thursday. Adding skills in insolvency and business rescue will be helpful, he said.

Treat with caution..Taking a punt on Steinhoff at this stage is a pure gamble and is simply not based on sound financial decision making. High risk, high rewards though, but it can go horribly wrong.

May not necessarily see a sens on this as several sens issued already. Hopefully this already factored and does not impact price

If this is true, that is very concerning. If the investors win this case (which is extremely likely), Steinhoff is essentially insolvent. Treat with extreme caution.

Hi IN,

FYI I sent an email to SNH Investor Relations asking if they have received notice of law suits. I received the following feedback on Friday 17 August, yesterday:

"Relating to the class action that was in the media last week, Steinhoff has received the court papers yesterday and is in the process of reviewing these documents."

Court papers have therefor now been filed against SNH.
I assume a SENS will be released next week to notify us on this.

Honestly... This seems highly unlikely without PWC releasing their report and that's only in December.

ditto

I find it mind boggling...talks about graphs and waves, tea cups and handles.....cups and sauces....gosh way too compicated for me....no graph or any techincal info could've predicted the drop in dec. so how could it give indication of whats to happen?

jtsuch thanks for the info.....was contemplaing shorting as my next move....changed my mind after reading your post....hoping this share finds solid ground at R2.50....if not i'l consider dumping and will check in after PwC report

Dito. If you in you in now till the end of this month.

My opinion. We'll be lucky to see R4 to R5 this year.

Graph points the 3rd wave to R6.31, 4th wave drop to R3.51, then 5th wave R9.11. One can only hope.

Check my earlier post, it is an attachment. No tool used, got it on twitter as a screen shot. The person on twitter reckons the 3rd wave in an Elliott formation started on friday.
