Ah this is the limited guidance. May not see price movement. Full restructuring will be 3 months post lockup..
Next trend influences will be parliamentary sessions, any sens or Aug results

The parties to the Hemisphere LUA are now seeking to execute the material
documents required to implement the Hemisphere Restructuring by 17 August 2018.
I would presume they will tell what the plan is...or something

There will definately be some settlement from snh... Perhaps r3 to 5 billion if at all.
People expect this due to enron and other cases but dissimilar. If you look at Tesco UK.. No settlement.. And small US 12million settelment
The settlement already factored in share price... I think... Multiple. Times over... Creditors know exactly what they're into... So I take that as sollace....

Pls confirm 17 by posting link or quote... If that is the case I will seriously try buy ahead of this..

I have allocated budgets to buy shares based on thresholds as I hate timing playing the trends.... I am a long term value investor.. An this is part of high risk allocation.
Thanks

Im still banging on about my 'boring' restructuring..but if they release a proper plan and they did say 17th...then at least shareholders can see where we going on the rollercoaster

For the record, i am short from R3.50 with a target of R2.05.

Have today adjusted my stop to R3.05

If it wasn't for a weakening rand, think my target would have been reached.

out at target..

carry on pumping while cleva money carry on dumping.

NEW TARGET R1.00 if R1.90 breaks to downside

Also very few those investors bought at 90..
More likely 20...so amount down would be difference purchase price and present price..possibly..you cant really sue for potential earnings..its a bit pie in sky really..i think deloittes absa etc could get hit big for just accepting what they were being told...even when you get bond bank checks value correct before giving money its their responsibility as their property until you pay in full...not quite but a little like suing race horse trainer as you weren't aware horse had muscle been sick before you placed your bet..:) bit exaggerated ..but in the same vein

Thats what i cant work out..how are they going claim against so many different entities absa..deloiite steinhoff as all their misdemeanors are different so not one law suite fits all...one thing for sure the snh legal bills going to be horrendous..but its very unusual people get what they ask for in these cases..also they would need to ascertain what real value was and if any compensation would be difference tgey purchased for and real value..but as sharesalso emotional buys and sells very difficult to pinpoint..and if by time a judgement made say snh worth 8 rand then why must snh pay full loss if people sold out cause jittery...this is very hard caseto quantify..i really cant imagine how a judge would decide...would almost be better if parties involved make an offer...time will tell...if thet releas restructure ideas next week share should go up a bit again

steinhoff legal woes

seems like the media and radio 702 included have merely regurgitated what is in mainstream without taking the time to clarify.

I stand for correction:

1. class action suits is a once of legal suit. claimants los ethe right to suit post settlement

2. the JHB suit includes the dutch team- so is this a sign of desperation or weakness from the dutch now moving to SA or is it a separate group of shareholders unlikely

3. are the claimants suing for lost value. value is perceived and not actual and what happens when the share recovers- will they be willing to pay back

4. snh legal team will challenge this

5. multiple culprits so its not actually Steinhoff being sued for that quantum

this is an absolute fiasco of fake news

expect at least 10-15% drop today and creating a good buy opportunity Monday midday

Thinking of buying more snh...any opinions on what lows can be expected in next month/ months...im guessing about 2.09 today...any lower?? Want be sure i go in low as possible to bring my average down..thanks...think there will be little surge 17th august and hopefully 31 august but if mf start bankrupcy labour day is 2 September should go down then...going on psychology though so guess work

Looking to get in at 1.8.mf bancruptcy dependent on sens...if a positive bankruptcy... Will go up as strategic value.. If a liquidation type... Perhaps down to R1. 4.....
If restructured and MBO after bankruptcy... Also very positive
