I think Weise will stick to the deal. He is nearing the end of his business career and I'm sure he wouldn't like to go several more years to fight this.

He would also appreciate the upside that the GS will bring to his legacy.

My 2c

I don't think what ever happens to SNH will matter to him or any claimant with exception of PIC and the Hamilton claimants if they still have shares.

Have you guys noted all claimant getting Pepkor share and not one wants SNH. Further CW sold his holding in SNH that should tell a story.

I think he sees that Pepkor is the future and not SNH.

Do you guys think Steinhoff wil pay dividends soon +- 4 years or rather focus on restructure and paying its debts?

for the near future it would be restructuring debt and paying off debt. Won't see dividends soon. But will see capital appreciation in share price

I’m also not so sure if the 120mill call options is above or in addition to what still needs to be sold in order to settle GS.
Might very well be that SNH will still hold more than 50% even after this settlement with Trevo… Depending on the terms of this agreement I think this might be a win win for all and the creditors will fund the purchase the 120mill shares at a higher rate than what SNH would have gotten on the open market…

Thanks Polla, the reason I included the shares was that they will maybe be delivered and SNH will loose the shares and get the money that will deprive the future growth in value of SNH in Pepkor which if one looks not so long ago the share was at R14 levels and now reached R24 its close to 100% growth.

At present Rand exchange SNH will receive Eur 165 mil in 3 years time which is nothing compared with future growth of Pepkor

Maybe I got it all wrong!

It will not surprise me at all if he comes out guns blazing. I think he is getting a bad deal compared to the TT crowed.

TT are getting a crazy good deal, those mofo's are laughing all the way to the bank.

The TREVO small print is also not yet known to the public and must be finalised by 11 January
