All that work & then missing the bus? No wonder you all of a sudden turned bearish on this stock!

As of today nothing all my trucks are now empty until the Financial come out in January.

Traders trade along the trend and have short horizons and dont care on future value.
Totally understand. But not everyone know how to do this. When I started on this journey I also did the options trading and saw my bottom fast. Hence me staying away from it. My opinion and my strategy will always be long
Let me give a example a trader has a cash amount of R200k for trading.

On a up trend a traders buys 1 block of 50000 shares at R3,30 he then puts 1% profit (for the explanation living trading costs out) and sells it for R3,33 and makes aprofit of R1500.

As the share goes up he keeps on doing the same thing over and over.

He does that the whole day and lets say he does the cycle 10 times at the end of day he will have no positions open in SNH but made R15k. This profit goes on his books.

A person that bought 50000 SNH shares at R3,30 needs to see the share price rise by 9 % so he can see the R15k profit on his portfolio.

So from above you can see traders are only focused on the day trade and they look for volatile shares with a reasonable volumes traded daily.

Pepco share price dropped 1,64% to 45,6 Zlotys and Pepkor dropped by 1,06% so how can SNH go up by 11%?

Share price is a discount of perceived future value but we know that the share price is being driven by retail traders and they just follow the Cork. Once institutions are on board I am sure we will be sure that its increasing in value while its subsidiaries are stagnant is because institutions perceive that steinhoffs future value will be more than 3 bucks as currently it is still undervalued

I like it when the share price dips now and then for me it means that little by little those that bought low are eventually selling and new buyers buy higher and will maybe hold on longer since they want to wait for a higher price to sell eventually climbing and climbing the price.

I wont be selling anytime soon. Will enjoy the ride up. Traders are destroying value for themselves.

I think the media will always dwell on the passed, we should look to the future.

So that leaves us at 51%ish of Pepkor

Once this whole mess is sorted, I wonder if we will see share buy backs in the medium to long term.

I read somewhere in one of the SENS that SNH will still maintain majority shareholding in PEPKOR when the dust has settled

On 14 April 2021 PEPKOR announced that the framework agreement have been finalised and that PEPKOR shares will be transferred to SNHin tranches as and when the different properties are transferred to PEPKOR.  I believe these shares are not included in your calculations.

Hi Polla you correct I did not include them because the deal not completed but that will help.

DTD, the question still remains whether the 70mill Pepkor shares that SNH will receive for the SNH properties from PEPKOR, as announced on SENS 18/12/2020, are included in your calculation?  The SENS only indicated that there is several conditions to be fullfilled for the transaction to be concluded. That is an extra 1.9% of Pepkor shares.....
