The more we talk of R12 the more the price is dropping. The TT saga needs to go away. And all the value and valuations will not help at this point. Look at Pepkor results. Wonderful yet SNh is stuck

Yea it’s so frustrating, for some reason there’s a rot on the share price.

I think you forgetting one thing!! LdP got handed over a bankrupt MF. Further I believe SNH will sell a stake on the MF but not the full 50%.

I dont understand why you stuck on the R50 bil because that is the price shareholders have to pay for voting in Jooster to trick them.

I am 100% convince your plans would lead to SNH bankruptcy !! You lost my vote for CEO!! Hahaha

DDT I am not trying to score points here. Whatever is good for my bank account is good for me. So I am in it. If you believe that there is potential for R12. I am also backing it. I hope that it reaches R12 and stays a sustainable group for many years to come. And not become like one of those shares that dissappear from the JSE once it is fixed up.

So you saying that Mattress firm will list at 5 billion? USD so 50 percent comes to 2.5 billion equates to about R33 billion still less than the R50 billion that this whole debacle has cost. Look at the reduction in Pep and Pepkor as well as all the other assets. Property PSG stake. So not sure if it was still worth it.

We look forward to the USD 5 billion listing. So why will he need rights money if he can sell this stake at USD 2.5 billion?

Surely you must be joking!!! MF was running very badly and making big losses from the day they bought it and the same for Conforama!! How much do you think they would get for it selling at that time!!

I am convinced if MF isd now listed it5 will fetch about $5 bil which before would get a big POLLY FAT ZERO!!!

Which businesses the core businesses have been pumping for four years and continue to do so. MF and Conforama could have been unwound in the normal course of business.

Indeed this has been a long complex difficult process. The business had to be turned around so we have to be patient!!

If it was not for the TT saga we would have been much further.

If they raise money through a rights issue then TT is correct Steinhoff is insolvent.

I don't agree! The money raise would be to pay down debt and to be able to negotiate a low interest rate! The NAV per share would be the same!!

For me the following to happen to reach the R12:

1 The GS is completed
2 The IPO's of MF and Greenlit Brands are done.
3 Step three completed financial restructuring.

The GS is depending on the January court bearing, IPO's I think they are imminent and completibg step three will be by tbe end of 2022

Yes it could well be before the end of 2022. Step three has been developing well and I think they could implement the final steps fairly quickly after the GS implementation.

Don't you think end of 2022 is a bit much ? I think they would have been in discussions already on this ? I think covid has been a blessing, market is so pumped and a lot of money in circulation. They need to IPO soon , take advantage of the window of opportunity of these pumped markets.

Good morning DTD
What’s your horizon to reach 12R?
If 3 years and more, looks to me to be on lower end

I don't see them doing a rights issue until the the GS is finalized and the share price is a lot higher. This will result in a much smaller dilution. I would hate for an Aveng type situation.

I cannot talk on behalf of LdP, these days many people have trusts and they buy shares via the Trust so I have no insight if LdP has a trusf set up or not.

Further I am very happy SNH is not giving shares as a bonus because they would have to give huge volumes and you and me would be in the loosing end due to the very low share price. Can you imagine giving shares away as a financial insentive at R2 for a shade that is with R12?

I focus on my research and knowledge and then make a investment decision.

I am not like the TT old boys that took SNH shares because CW had shares there.

Listed companies have to disclose the holding whether through trusts or otherwise. If he had confidence in his own ability he could have invested his own money right? But he hasn't which is concerning.
