me actually think with overseas dumping emerging markets  , retailers are back to shorting opportunities!!!

I suggested acl last week and bought in....today up about 7%...still a buy medium term to long term im my view!! results out today and profit from last 10 years of losses

 

Watch MTN....follow the crowd on a break above R90.00...news should be out soon on their Nigerian case...

 

Also watching HLM.....beaten down but dont think can go lower than R4.00...relies on a weak rand/usd

 

GPL nice pullback..still offers value in my view...

yep...just needs to start paying a divi and will start flying...brought borrowings nicely down too

 

 

also never went to market for monies via right issues etc when she needed capital to survive,,,Solid overseas holding company

always a good sign!.....im 50% convinced haha....i did not get in couple days ago as i noticed volumes werent that good....def. checking this out. thanks

do some home work tonight and make a decision....exports helped bottom line....first time profits in yonks...as long as china growth remains above 6% demand for steel should be there..Local markets subdued due to construction industry

Lionel dont let one share hold you back....some bargains out there....be selective...research is the key... and PS follow the clever money

 

IE buy when rising not when falling or you will be trying to catch falling hot daggers  ala ellies, blue , etc

yea i remember you caling the R4 on this one late last year, when u mentioned it couple days ago i had a look but sadly did not go in.....steinhoff has given me a strong fear of the market.

You think still good time to go in? i havent done any research on this!
