Watch out for the rap between posters that keep telling what they are supposedly doing whilst discussing actually nothing about any of it. This is typical of those employed to do so in order to drum up business.

Dear Snippit,

The number of people reading or acting on the blog will really not drum up business.  Again, I do this as a hobby  As I said previously, you are paranoid.  Everyone is not a fraudster or con artist.

  1. Trusting strangers on an anonymous chat forum can be a risky business. Even more risky than the stock market.
  2. I have tried to warn the vulnerable, being those without adequate savvy: e.g.: https://swrict.blogspot.com/2018/11/sharechat-warning.html
  3. Vultures circle hereabouts. Give them control and say goodbye to your money.

a bit tired of top 40, so looking at some mid-caps that I will test drive:

AFX - Afrox,  positive indicators, nicely trending upwards, div yield 3.5%, P/E 14,28 - will long it

HCL - Hosken Inv, also good indicators, close to been overbought. div 2,2%, P/E 8,47. - will just put a line in the water to see what the big fishes do :-)

Note: P/E and Div differ slightly from sources.  Not advise, just observations.

Anyway am not a RFA (whether you do it for money or not you need to be a RFA to give financial advise)

Not sure when agl. Anglo American go up..but im bullish on this...just opinion...25 polled investment analysts is to buystock in Anglo American PLC. This rating has held steady since April, when it was unchanged from a buy rating.

Am positive on SOL from a long perspective with Lake Charles coming online. As long as oil stays higher than 60-65.

Thanks soutie..down to earth advice as always...polly said the same...i think beginners wobble sets in sometimes and prefer to bank...but have steel nerves with npn at moment...also agl being a right little sh#t cause kio but holding...you right started calculating fees in and out or hold for longer while ago...and brokers score big time if darting in and out...have a good one

You should maybe consider staying in the trade a little longer.....confidence in your reasons for trading it initially....thus reducing your trading fees.

Jumping in & out reduces profits...All about risk vs reward...

However nobody got poorer by taking a profit... B)

don't want to roll the BLU (blue label telecoms) drum again as I have some minor scars. However, BLU up 30% in last 5 days. No 'published' news, but something brewing. Careful, hovering in overbought quickly from oversold.  up 6+% today.

Any onions on on agl...know kio had not great sens today..but isnt the agl drop radical...any opinions of interest

Midas, AGL had an awesome run from late November 2018. However, looks to me like a head and shoulder formation and could not find support on 40 day moving average.  I would wait for a while to see how it plays out and positive signals are confirmed (specially considering the production reports released today).  As you said: don't let the 'senem severiorum' make you loose sleep  .

I will be adding to CPI tomorrow.

Just saw post re shoprite...npn koos bought npn huge amount last nov about 3.18 million .it went to 2.5 then back again..well worth watching where directors/ owners invest..i agree cfds risky but risk is actually same as your equities..if you treat all as proper cash..but cfds will enable more advantages or losses as most people aren't going cash in all assets for equities..ies manage all risks the same
