It's just gettingnworse for sasol.. Everything is lines the opposite... Apart from unstable oil... The Rand has dropped significantly... Rights issue now falls short and would need to be increasedmmfurtherndilution...probkems just get bigger... Could this actually go to r10°°. Seems likely

LOL. Actually tragic how much this has essentially wiped off of the JSE and pensions. Spare a thought for those who thought they were getting a bargain at R50.

Paul Theron has a funny twist to this. "WTF? I keep getting calls from people who want to buy Sasol shares. I'd rather put my d*** in a crocodile's mouth.."

David Shapiro commented last week...."at one point in time Sasol was 5% of the entire JSE"

People's pensions are going to take a hit from this mucho worse than some Flu strain....!

I would not touch this share at all for now. At the current price a rights issue will dilute the shits out of existing shareholders. And watch out for shareholder claims coming. 93% down in just a few weeks.

Yeah, huge class action loading apparently. Sad. Really admired this company for many years. Honestly hope they can turn it around, just don't have big enough balls to risk it.

Yes its a blood bath out there peeps

I got some at R35.00 yesterday and thought I was making a smart move

Had to offload them at R30.00 this morning when the carnage began again

Might get back in when it reaches R10.00 :D

Value destruction here is nothing like I've witnessed before. The drop was so severe & quick I myself didn't believe what was unfolding. Personally I've put them in the bottom drawer as what's left of what I started with isn't worth selling.

Gone from a 3yr outlook to leaving them to my grandkids....Well the one's I don't like so much.... :P

What are the predictions as to where this share is heading? Scary that many of the leading analysts seem to think that its doomed for now?

Will you subscribe for rights offer when you expect a share holder claim to erode any potential value, and where the entity has not hedged oil for 9 more months
