This share is in free fall.... Methodology to use.... Patience?

Way it's going I won't b surprised if knocks down into the 50bucks today

So this is critical... If share falls below a certain level won't that nullify rights issue, compounded with oil anywhere below 40usd...will this force a meeting with creditors and a capital restructure... Hope we don't hear of the legal issues anytime soon.... Else that will be the nail in the coffin...

Holes in a Swiss cheese.....

Price will probably settle more or less at where the potential rights off er would be set... R70? Or r90????
What would be the methodology used,
What quantum should be raised. 6b usd

What about massive flight reductions globally and stock piling of jet fuel....
Even at 40 dollars.... This means cash flow pressure and margin pressure... Rights issue will allow breathing room. Current cfo and cro to be fired for not managing risk.

Hi Lionel

Still no support here. The R69 is an average price the market is projecting. The projected price in one year after today's close is now at R56, with an extremely wide trading range of between R26 to R208.

It would be good to see a bounce first, because there are no buyers yet. I would stay clear for now. We might go up to test the break at around R92.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Oil is sitting at a low price and with no demand comming from China, they are predicting oil to drop to around the 20dollar/barrel range.... Sasols breakeven as per reports is 35dollar/barrel so that spells trouble

Will be watching this one.... Not looking good for now. Thanks again

That value has now changed to R69-00 :(

A rights issue would be fully supported & considerably over-subscribed....Should they choose to go that route..IMO the sooner the better.....Cheap shares...

Move the ego aside & focus on really protecting the balance sheet & far away from debt covenant breaches...

Room to manouvre never a bad policy.

We have hedged our US$/ZAR exchange rate and ethane exposure, but oil price exposure is not hedged for the remainder of FY20.

Is this a reason for sell off

Sasol's debt is very high - the worry now, especially with oil so low, is that it will not be able to meet debt obligations , and may end up doing a rights issue

WTI below $30 and Brent expected to drop below $30 as well. UST 10-year dropped below 0.50% and markets are in complete meltdown. How low will Sasol go?

This is double trouble... Oil... And sasol debt and liquidity stress if price not hedged for next six months....
Being in junk status,... And all this.... There is no limit to low... Look away.....
