More good news if nuclear deal is off...

That was going to bankrupt this country...

TOP40 will probably like that and go higher...

Fading this trend up is a losing game...

Good for the Rand perhaps?

Another Rand rally today. Tax reform will never happen in States. It's amazing that the market is still believing this nonsense. Massive bull trap in my opinion. This entire week has been nothing but a massive bull trap with the 'relief' rally from the French elections which weren't priced in at all with a base case outcome.

Rand seems to be collapsing. Should help Naspers push that for that 100 P/E.

My negative outlook to this market only started this year. I just can't bring myself to go long anymore. Wish I had a more neutral view but those long term charts and basic fundamentals pull me the other way. You are correct though to be more neutral. Trying to build a short is definitely the hardest and most painful thing I've ever done.

I still prefer to be short and always have. There's something inherently satisfying about those long, sharp red candles. The psychology of trading is the hardest part!

I'm neither bullish nor bearish. I forced myself out of my permabear state and I'm so much happier with my trading.

Feel exactly the same. Argg life would be much better without trading.

Wow I cannot tell you how profoundly true that statement is. Thank you for that. Makes me feel like I'm not completely insane to be doing this.

Honestly I don't think the market can anticipate anything anymore. It's really just a case of buy whatever you see. Every negative reason is a buy, every positive is a buy at double the pace. All correlations have broken down entirely and therefore points to complete and utter euphoria.

The notion that nothing can bring the market down anymore has become very evident this year.

Now the ZAR is getting stronger,,, but top40 still going up..

Market must be anticipating the US going up later on!!!

TOP40 reacted instantly to the ZAR strengthening..(by going down)

So yes the computers/algos/traders are watching it closely...

Unless some more news comes out regarding for example trade wars...

If it weakens again up we will go!!!!

FTSE also getting weaker

Doubt this rally is sustainable... my gut is its driven by trumps tax cuts plans to be announced on wed... buy the rumor sell the fact?

And we can't go down in a straight line now... will have to zig zag down until the edge...

Looking very overdone here. Wild buying on the back of the base case scenario for the French elections. China is starting to show cracks in it's credit issuances. I truly don't think this rally has any legs. Been wrong before though that's for sure.
