Boing! S&P bounced after hitting through 1775 (1773 low actually).
If 1775 fails properly then there is little holding it back from 1700 (small 1745 support).

Closed all my Longs at 40930 - made good profit but tension high and now exhausted - would probably go down even more , but I dont have a proper understanding for a realistic target lower for this session , so Risk management says "be happy and bank profit for next trade" and haveing a relaxing whiskey now.!

Sou dink ons het al iets geleer uit ons foute, maar nee.....ai....for me it was about 3 - 4 days profit gone. Hope yours was not as severe

Nooooooooo, wanted to hedge my long and did not tick force open on my short Noooooooooooo!!!!!!
The only thing that comes close to this is a kick in the nuts...
But look at the bright side guys.. You didn't REALLY want those longs anyway.

i doubt we are the only few who messed up today!! my lesson of the day was going against what i said i will do and position size...need to think for a bit.
one thing no one can argue with is for 1775 on SP go then we have an oops and this is starting to look like more than just a little move down.
I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.

Another 10% down from Dec 18th lows will put us at 34500-ish.
I'm a bear, but that's optimistic even for me!
The weak Rand will keep the Rand hedges alive, and should keep us above those levels.

I have a different system.
1. Toss a coin
2. Heads = Long
3. Tails = Long
4. If it balances on its side = Long
If it doesn't touch the ground = short
Long or short, we in for a excellent money making week. Just need to know how...

fabes = rational : ALSI = irrational
True L. I know very much the Alsi is irrational, hence the reason my take is long. Everyone is expecting a further drop, which probably might happen, but we will go up again. Think it will all depend on the data this week. Some nice bargain hunting this week. I do however have some risk management strategies in place.

Toss a coin, then trade LOL
Heads=Long
Tails=Short
I' going to short every rally. The move down is not over yet
I have a different system.
1. Toss a coin
2. Heads = Long
3. Tails = Long
4. If it balances on its side = Long
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit,
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
