I think if we carry on up to 40600 by 14h00 we are then going up and not coming back down

The S&P and Dow are running for 1800 and 1600.

Looks like the 39800-40600 range continues.  Bulls buy on every dip and bears sell on every rally.

 

The dollar is weak this morning, but US session will kep it bid

 

Our Rand Hedge are feeling the pain. Rand is R10.10c

SAB,BAT,Mondi and Anglo are on key supports. If they hold, then it will be a nice bounce in after afternoon.

 

Dont forget 13h00-14h30 breakouts

Normally when the market opens with a dip, it will end on a high.

Funny just after i wrote this SAB,BAT,Mondi, Anglo jumped out of support

Bit of profit taking..we had two nice updays last week after the 2% down day..We are in a consolidation phase again and looks like the base is forming aroung the 40200 40400 levels for a push up towards the 41500 mark again. I must admit im ultra bullish its not always I will have 5 contracts running at the same time

Thanks for that insight Chubby - 41500level ! my first take was very optimistic but maybe end of the year - then on daily& 1 hr chart I see it has reached the 41400/500 T40 spot only 7/8 days ago  -- at that stage the S&P 500 was 30 pts less than it is now at all time almost 1800 - so with them consolidating , and hopefully not settling downward  too much then why  can't our T40 just be at a previous high level - OK the ZAR is stronger for one thing again - --  ---However ,  still feel there is a high probability of S&P500 to tag somewhere between 1788 and 1790 sometime this week resulting in testing of recent support levels again - hopefully only after we retested the 41400/500 level for me to close Longs T40

Hi Chubby , what is your take on that serious bit of red down candle on the chart  at the moment? SP500's bullish action was overdone last week and this stellar performance smacks of almost pure short squeeze  and will more than likely pull back to 1787 or even below-   - the Dow could loose 200 pts easy on any bad news smack too - are you going on chart suggesting a dip buy using 1hr? (im long 40358 T40 spot)
