For those who don't have a long position yet, risking a long now would be a good punt, if you don't wanna miss the bus.

Its a pig decision, but rather be a pig for one day. Beats being a pig everyday.

Just make sure its a small one.

Yip, so at least till end Jan 2014 we dont have to worry about tapering.

I'm long @ 40030. We might drop a bit, but I will then just add to it. Free money will keep equities shooting the lights out.

I bought some gold today also.

I will look to ad to my gold lower.

Yelen should be good for gold

I'm thinking wall street will bluff the market and buy gold on a deal.

Gold has been going down on every deal making news.

Gold might take a U-turn and head higher and bluff bears.

Just my 2c LOL ;)

Yeah people are buying because of no taper. Not because of the deal.

They know Yellen will make Bernanke look like a hawk

IMO this rally we are having is not because maybe the US sorts out the debt ceiling, but like S said, taper will not begin until debt ceiling is sorted.

That is why I think we are rallying hard.

Thanks...I'll take 1954!

After debt rubbish sorted out there shouldn't be mush standing in the way of a nice run up...except maybe taper..

Gimme another 10% from here and I'm happy

No taper this year.

The good times will be coming soon.

Where we might be going.

History correlations with S&P 500      https://pbs.twimg.co...AqTjA.png:large

1995 and 1954 are the closest.

If correlation holds, then continued gains through year end

Do not try and bend the market. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. Then you'll see, that it is not the market that bends, it is only yourself.

To focus on the charts...looks like she is consolidating for the last push up, should pop and drop with the debt ceiling resolution come friday just above the previous high before the return move next week!

Something to note..TOP40 is in a strong bulltrend and US is still in a downtrend with their charts not looking good, so don't be surprised if we continue north (bumpy) into October beginning November while the US continue south, we should join them in November for a good pullback (1000+). Our market is stronger in the second half of they year than the US...based on the commodities cycles impact/ ZAR!

My 2c on IG, don't know of a guy that is consistant successful with those products, just too wild and does not reflect the true price, especially overnight...and more so with scalping! Just saying....if you have deep pockets then guess it can work!

Overall the markets are actually very bullish longer term as most has broken out from their 2007 highs and busy with retests, so don't be surprised to see this bull march on into next year!

Big money lies in the big swings folks!
