Okay gents. Yet another positive day for me although I didn't reach my cash target Thank you Draghi! Tomorrow we shall hit that BWE and of course it is Friday....

I am no technical analyst be any means but have been watching Frans de Klerk and Garth Mackenzie on Summit TV for a few months now, so am trying to put my little knowledge to work.South Africa 40 Futures(Daily)20130502144357.png

I think I have a potential inverted HS pattern i'd on the Top40 daily. The right shoulder has as yet not been completed, but should the index continue to rise, completion will take place on breaking the neckline at 34730.

I'm probably wrong, but this is a great way to learn ( by asking/posting).

Target upside would be 36000.

I closed that boy out earlier. But now sitting with buys at 34075 and 34150. Cleared buy at 34100 for good profit. Just opended a buy at 34250 as a bit of a chancer, will keep an eye on him....

It almost looks like Draghi is disappointing the Market.

Cleared the sell for very small profit before US data. Strengthened buy at 34150. Oh yeah.

If you are uncomfortable with your position cut then, my analysis together with the trend says down, it will come...just wait for it!

The VIX is showing positive divergence relative to the SPX that made new highs, that tells us a good correction is on its way and big moves, so quick hands and patience the name of the game, you must play according to her rules and timeframes otherwise get eaten alive!

 

For the rest of today I don't see much more coming from this oversold bounce...tomorrow we will dance (down)!!

Glad I hedged with a buy. Will keep an eye. 14h30 might just show something else. Unfortunately I cannot hold a position over night so I can't wait for the drop tomorrow. Will trade it when it comes.

I can honestly not see the down move to follow , rate cut , Europe up US futures up plse share some knowledge as i am in the dark and want to learn the fundamentals that i am missing.
