Bruce Lee once said something along the lines of "be like water"
'like a duck's water off my back'

Rain stopped play, but thanks for keeping that gap on ice
And for all to see...Oom Fib is back in town,
yeah!
Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.
MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).
In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.
Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.
Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.
Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.
Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..
Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

Fewer and fewer brave souls left to try and trade this market!
Let' see if we can get something out of the weekly chart...as you can see it looks like we have a reversal pattern down and if the red line could be our final stop (for wave C), given it be a very up and down affair!
But let me not get ahead of myself and make calls to eagerly (and get punches along the way)!
Daily macd is now really down so can the TOP40 (inverted H&S still at play?) muster the strength for new highs with the US being at these levels...me doubt but let's not throw away that thought, if it does kudo's to those who ride it, but then she needs to start going up from tomorrow and put in a reversal candle today!
If we continue down and hit 44000 by friday and she bounces then the play would be to short the hell out of any rally!
A
Ja ... seems like there are as many brokers in here now as there were once traders
I'm not a Bollinger Boffin ... but that paints a weak picture A

I'm long until that lower channel is broken. What a party it's been!
You are long until then?
Trading leveraged instruments?
Seriously??????

MACD said yesterday what we are seeing now...this not good for the TOP40 as she posted a lower high...so expect new lows again (C?), but with playable bounces along the way!
Think this might drag on into Q1 next year, sure looks like that Primary IV!!
If US turns very good change they going back to 1820 again!
A
Thanks A
Phew ... you came in for some unfair stick today!!
Bruce Lee once said something along the lines of "be like water"
And that's the mark of a good trader.
Sticking to your guns simply because you are stuck to them will see you come unstuck!

No worries E, was too sure about that long call I agree and will take the punch!
The mere fact that we are so out of sink with the US makes this beast so much more difficult to tame!
Luckily the macd saved my ass yesterday and got out of my longs!
Looks like the November seasonal blues are taking over!
See UBS is saying US also going down soon.....low yields, VIX and breath not confirming the new highs!Interesting times ahead...
A
on that point...Thanx V

The first goal is to ensure survival – avoid the risks that can empty your account and put you out of the trading business.

So Sorry If I hurt your feelings Frans. You make some absolutely brilliant calls!! I just find them confusing sometimes within a short space of time.
but like they say...If you can't blind them with brilliance, then bedazzle them with bullshit
and PS. I posted not long ago about coming back down to this gap and perhaps the one left on the 31st okt without no replies...didnt change my call inbetween since then................

Got to go play, please mind the gap for me, reminds of someone...
Whenever he 'sees a gap'
he'll 'pluck a feather for his cap'
'to hell with the rest'
as long as he can 'feather his nest'
and then he wont 'shut his trap!'

At least you have contributed to the forum in a good view B...some people very outspoken with very little input!

And long it is full speed ahead!!
A
60min macd shows positive divergence and this sideways dull action is normally bullish, I'm still in the bullish camp waiting for a break out up....!Then a big move will follow!
A
Nice 'toast' call there gannet..I'm out for now, that daily macd looks like something else is at play here!

Frans
Truly magnificent turnaround yet again by you....Cant wait for your opinion tomorrow... one day I also want to be a professor of hindsight
Ettas, i really think this market is just too difficult to predict. Who could have thought Dow would be above 17,640 on the 15th of October when it reached a low of 15,770?
I think most of it is just the timing which is wrong but eventually the call would be right, Argento does give very good calls. His response when i asked him about his longer term view last week he mentioned that looking at the weekly chart MACD has positive divergence, but i know for certain that when yo are looking at a weekly chart the market can go against you until it proves you right!

Like I said, I dont want to get involved in a spat, just noted that I found it funny.
I am not in a position to judge, my last call was horribly wrong, but also spot on, just a timing issue.
So best I keep my opinions to myself.
