yup, write off cml at their own peril. how many times haven't we seen this over the past few years
Add the divi back and it hardly budged.
I started here with nothing and still have most of it left.

Close enough I think. So she thumbed her nose at the market dropping 2.5%. We still have a winner here.

a close of 6092 will be a flat close ex-div

out at 40% return exactly, had an amount similar to what orca has in, happy with the return considering time spent in . still a great stock imo and will likely get in again at a later date. equities in SA in general taking a pounding lately, bargains aplenty coming up for short term bounces
delta, how long did you hold? are you paying CGT or income tax on your gain?
for me this is always a big issue. difference of up to 30%

3% of the drop is the divi coming out of the price.
if it drops more than another 2% on top of the divi then we should see buyers coming in over the course of the week.

Most of today's action was due to small time investors taking profits. Trades were more than normal but volumes were around 100 to 600.
That R1 drop just before close would normally correct the next day before open (desperate seller) but now it goes ex on Monday and it drops below the 20SMA.
New to me but still have faith in CML.
I doubt that this foreign money exiting SA will affect CML. The foreigners are after all exiting due to their unease caused by miners strikes.
CML has UT's that are not associated with miners that are very attractive to foreign institutional investors with the weak ZAR.
I started here with nothing and still have most of it left.

LDT for CML today and its down 2%?? I hope this doesn't indicate a big drop early next week.
It sure will. Sentiment is low.
