You say we must wait for the buy back before we see any positive movement? WSL
yip, since I think the SENS means that its basically guaranteed the share will trade at 200c on the day of the buyback (unless someone is willing to buy the 14 million shares at a higher price)

Any opinions on CSG? I don't know them, but am curious as Anthony Clark (SmallTalkDaily) seems to love it.
PS: there is also no thread here for them.
I entered today @ 175c Anthonys YE Target is 300c. So lets see.

Any reason why Poynting HLDGS (POY) dropped by over 5%? Low of 303 today.
Should one enter?
Im also wondering about this and very tempted to go in.
Especially after the PSG AGM on Friday.
Surely someone here must know some info?

"2) Specific repurchase of shares
As a consequence of the Vlaklaagte disposal and Elandspruit acquisition, 14 285 714 Wescoal ordinary shares
were issued to Proudafrique at 70 cents per share in terms of a specific issue of shares as detailed in the circular
sent to shareholders on 15 January 2013 and approved by shareholders on 14 February 2013.
The Minoscape acquisitions will result in Wescoal owning 100% of Proudafrique, resulting in a specific
repurchase of shares by Wescoal. The attributed price from an accounting point of view for the specific
repurchase was 200 cents per share, payable by a combination of shares and cash.
The general meeting to approve the specific repurchase is expected to be on 27 June 2014.
The intention is to repurchase these shares on 30 June 2014 and de-list these shares on 1 July 2014 once the
resolution to approve the specific repurchase has been approved by shareholders."
- From SENS 9 May 2014
As such, I would not expect the WSL share price to move too far from 200c (unless it reverts to 200c before 30 June).
After the 30th of June there will be 14 million less shares and no one holding the price down....

Will be interesting to see how the stock trades today.
Over the next 12-24mths there is lots of upside to WSL as they integrate MacPhail, continue Intibane production and begin to bring Elandspruit online.
At the end of the day Eskom needs all the coal it can get.

Very muted response by the share price yesterday... Closed 1c lower... Rather disappointing
Let's see

What do you guys make of the AVI announcement by Zeder? Share price making a move early this morning.
PSG owns quite a few shares and directors seem qualified correctly for the job. NAV is slightly less than current price but that isn't a problem with their earnings growing steadily per period.
Looks good but maybe wait for a pullback, ran too hard for my taste in the past few days to enter in the short-term

Remember the recent Keaton (JSE:KEH) SENS was as follows:
So from a HEPS perspective it seems that the performance of Keaton is better. That said - I currently own both Keaton and Wescoal. Both are bringing a lot of production online and Wescoal has almost zero debt so there is a lot of room for growth. Keaton's debt doesn't inspire a lot of confidence, but I'm hoping they can lessen their debt easily with their production rampup. So sure, the trading statement compared to Keaton might seem weak but I think Wescoal is still a good candidate for a long term portfolio.
But yeah, make the trade and you can re-think when the full financials come out. Keith did a great analysis of Wescoal recently: [link]
(I think Wescoal was still trading at 170c at the time)
I'm PM'ing you...
