So as I don't have the cash flow to buy the rights, am also trying to sell some at 3cents. Then I can replace those with the new full rights amount at 1,5cents,
My total average per share will then go to 2cents.
But so far no joy on the sale.

Buy at 2c, sell half at 4c, use profit to buy back at 1,5c?

Thought that was an unbelievable trading update, but why is there 1.7 B shares currently on offer at 4c, surely this is worth more  <_<

Where does one see the shares on offer?

I'm guessing 1.7B shares bought at 1c and selling at 4c isn't a bad profit?

Guys I have not followed aveng for ages except now where I see the trend is up and there is some positivity around her.

Would you say aveng is also undervalued ? Has the rights issue come into effect yet ?

Rights issue has been SENS'd and will come into effect beginning of March.

There was a lot of positive news. Next week is the YE results so that will be telling, but preliminary results are looking good for the turn around. Regarding value, unfortunately I cannot say exactly, will also wait for the rest of the forum to foretell

Thank you! I might just very well take up my rights offer. Just have to phone FNB and let them know not to sell it. I'm hoping I'm eligible. I bought my shares on Monday.

you get 103.12203 shares for every 100 shares you have at discount price of 1.5c

Exp:

You 10000 shares

10000 / 100 x 103.12203 = 10312.203 shares you get on right offer

10312.203 x 0.015 = R154.68 cost of right offer

I think my calculation is correct .

It should also be mentioned that you need to have the AEG shares at a certain date to qualify for the rights issue. If so, then you will be given N-shares (code probably AEGN) that you can sell (if you get a buyer) if you don't want to take up your rights. Check related SENS for when this is due. If you don't sell your N-shares, you will need to have the necessary funds in your account for the rights offer.

Thnx yes this is also the case

Can anyone explain the rights offer on offer? Usually that means we get a ratio of our shares at a discounted price? I couldn't quite see the ratio nor the price. I might be able to take up the offer. Would just like to know what it is.

Have a good holding here for myself. Average sp is 2,4cents.
So at 5 cents will have doubled my investment. Am not able to take up the rights issue, so will get that paid out.
Waiting for things to start going up here

4c again due to the trading statement. Cash in or hold out until results are published? Last time it reached 4c I held fast and just like that it dropped back down. I am not heavily invested here, but every bit counts.

Half year results due next Tuesday. There should be some good news assuming management wrote off all its claim skeletons in the 2020 figures.

Just hoping the stronger rand does not impact too much as most earnings are foreign.

For EE, you can phone in or email the trade desk, and they will complete your request. So NO, the markets not closed
