I'm also feeling confident about this..Thanks for this info!
It is interesting SIHPL has Net Assets of Eur 1,328 and Total Liabilities of Eur 6,866 so from where will Mr. Mostert get more money? I think the TT old boys cannot do arithmetic maybe they never did any maths at school!!
Sure they cannot be so stupid that think CW and the MPC claimants will support their cause???
The liabilities exceed the assets by 5.17 times therefore in liquidation TT old boys will only get maximum Eur 21.27 mil of the Eur 110 mil claim!!!
How can the judge entertain a party with a maximum claim of Eur 110 mil to jeopardize the losses of others which have much more to loose
I have a feeling the judge is going to approve the GS today and will tell the TT old boys to continue in court with SNH to sort out their differences.

if this share makes us so nervous and frustrated,Imagine how the common man on the street who has bought shares feel. I wont be surprised to see a depressed price this week. I think it might be a good idea to have some $$ ready to take advantage of the lower share price.

this guy is a joke. Why don't he wait for his day in court. He didn't want to be part of the settlement...separate issues . I hope comon sense will prevail today.
Former Tekkie Town CEO asks court to block Steinhoff's R25bn settlement plan.
Bernard Mostert, the former CEO of shoe retailer Tekkie Town, is continuing his bid to try to stop retailer Steinhoff from clinching a deal to pay out billions of rands to claimants in return for dropping all claims against the group.
On Wednesday, Mostert - who is also involved in a separate bid to have Steinhoff liquidated - lodged an affidavit in the Western Cape Town Court opposing Steinhoff's application to have its R25-billion settlement proposal made binding.
Under the proposal, litigants will be paid out a proportion of their verified claims stemming from the dramatic drop in Steinhoff's share price. They will have to drop all legal challenges against the retailer, which will not admit any liability.....

Clearly two massive forces fighting against each other.
Now, will the court(s) be totally ignoring what is at stake for hundreds of thousands of employees and shareholders vs. the merely egotistical attitude of TT owners when there is a tangible / pragmatic settlement option on the table???
I hope common sense will prevail in whatever legal decision will be made
Wait and see

Does anyone know when the urgent applications will be heard, believe there's something at the Supreme court of appeal and the constitutional court, doubt anything will happen before tomorrow but also a bit in the dark as to what's happening
