Haha this must be the best April Joke I heard for years. When they wanted to go out to take huge amounts of cash offshore at a stroke of a bell fully blessed by SARB and shareholders which Naidoo was one of them (after banbuzinling PIC to lend him easy money) full support great then no body gave two hoots to foreign investors it suited the SA investors now that we found Jooster pulled the best trick in the world we again WANT MONEY BACK GUARANTEE!!! Shame poor SA Black Empowerment but no one cares about the foreign investors. Shame Mr. Judge please feel sorry for me!!! If I was a judge would throw this out with costs because greed cannot be supported by any court!!

Why did Naidoo not complain then about taking the money offshore? Was it because it was convenient? Was it Greed?

 

Anyway just my thoughts time for green beer!!!

I think their ratings will be upgraded in the next round. I don't foresee their financial performance worsening and the US stimulus cheques may help here. That should translate into cheaper financing of debt if needed.

I can't remember if they have any debt or has all of it been consolidated to the parent?

Indeed I think Syd Vianello is living in the past and shooting out from the hip with limited information.

Firstly the idea that on the 2023 SNH has to pay all its debt is rubbish its dubious information because they will simply restructure the loans at much better rates because then the third leg (Financial restructuring) would be in place.

Second Syd also fails to note PEPCO is fast growing and Mattress Firm again profitable as well as Greenlit Brands therefore value increasing all the time.

Its real sad to have such a veteran saying things without proper investigation but well that is how SA experts are like when Jooster was bulsxxxting everyone SNH was loved and reaching for the stars, now we have a good management and transparent with all business turned around there is no future.

Agreed, isn’t mattress firms valuation a joke ? They using equity accounting etc.

They also have massive tax losses to carry forward

Their debt is high sure but IPO will reduce it and it’s not like they have to reduce all to 0.

They would have shut shop by now if they knew they couldn’t make it
