Ditto DTD...an even worst one full of attacks , insults etc..and hopelessly out of league in investing.. Just a troller posting useless info everyday ...why post facts here...means nothing...its available everywhere...

Let em teach you about investing:

Facts are already built into price....Its the forward looking opinions and views that will determine future  price...

Thast why the price is languishing below R2.00 because  sens told us what we already know..

Its how you interpret the sens...  which i already did yesterday and posted m,y view/opinion..and there you go posting /trolling a sens about pepkor...What did i say about Sa buinesses and overseas businesses...I value the overseas business at R1.00....only value steinhoff has is its creditable sa buinesses...( MJ could not fiddle cos wiese new his company)

Also what L says is perfectly 100% correct...You cant trust or have faith in this new management.. Shareholders r paying for the PWC report...Why not disclose the whole report to them...Why cherry pick and tell the market what is already knows... Hiding something???? go figure....opinions opinions opinions...Yes u need to read between the lines....

I said Pyramid scheme yonks ago,.,,,Go see twitter and see how many now agreeing on that....and reputable investors with insight confirming it...

and btw you only want to read what you want to read..IE anyone who pumps the share...Any alternative view either you dont understand , read it incorrectly( which imo u do) or attack it as nonsese blah blah.....This is your problem....sort it out or you will be a poor investor...

This must be one of the most idiotic , absurd,  nonsensical ,  irresponsible  and injudicious post i have ever read on share chat in all my years here...

With all due respect to your Harvard qualification , imo you are a clueless investor. Just another gambler come punter hoping to make it big with big talks trying to impress all and sundry. You wont fool me at all cos you know nothing about investing/trading and you dont even know me to make such clueless statements , insults blah blah.. Statements like those posted by you are very typical of sore losers ........

You have to excuse me but i say it as it is...Thats why i am disliked especially on this thread because the losers/insulters cant see the alternative view.

I have seen lots come and go in my years here and believe me you wont last long here and will run with your head between your legs!!

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – Former Steinhoff chairman and top shareholder Christo Wiese is open to negotiations over his 59 billion rand ($4.08 billion) claim against the scandal-hit company, he said on Monday.

“Everybody knows, the company does not have that kind of money, so our approach has been that the only way forward is for all the stakeholders to sit around the table and reconstruct the company,” Wiese told Reuters

Before u ignore me DTD, do u have Twitter or Facebook? I'd like for u to add me to ur social acc as I'd like to see what u write there and perhaps we could exchange views/opinions on that platform.

Or do u just hide here on Sharechat changing alias each time for whatever reason

Pepkor shareholders are referred to the findings released by Steinhoff International Holdings
N.V. (“Steinhoff”) on Friday 15 March 2019 titled Overview of Forensic Investigation (the
“Overview”), which reported on the investigation into Steinhoff’s affairs conducted by
PricewaterhouseCoopers (“the PWC investigation”).
Pepkor highlights clause 3.2.4. of the Overview which confirms that “Pepkor Holdings, nor any
of the other South African operating entities, were identified as having received such (fictitious
or irregular) contributions” (from Steinhoff or any related party).
Pepkor CEO Leon Lourens commented: “The findings confirm what we have always known.
Pepkor’s financial results for the 2017 and 2018 financial years therefore remain unaffected.
This again illustrates that the appropriate financial and corporate governance structures are
in place within Pepkor. It also confirms the values and principles which we stand for and on
which our business was built. Pepkor will continue to operate in this way and remains focused
on creating value for our customers and other stakeholders.”

and then captain harvard, could you ask your SPIES why this managmenet is making this a CONCERN FOR THE INVESTORS???

imo......cause they usless!!

and keep in mind, i got no shares atm in snh.....am not being emotional and blah blah blah

Lionel if you still not got to grips how complicated this whole thing is then I don't know there is nothing one can say that will make you satisfied. I just don't understand people have such a bad feel for a share don't just leave it and walk away. It was amazing for me to see how you and Polly were even contemplating Group 5 yet not prepared to sit tight and let management do their thing in SNH.

Haha never give up!!! Polly I have read a number of your posts all over and one thing is common you never give facts just lots of opinions (blah blah) without substance or real conversations. At least Captain put out good post to make everybody to think but you have not stopped attacking.

Just like I told you before the reason one has the need to be right all the time is a sign of inferiority complex so get help will make you a better person.

No one knows exactly what is going on, but as soon as the financials are out i think we will see a slow but steady increase in the share price. There is still too much uncertainty and investors hate that.

In my opinion, the 13 billion that was written off is way too high and this was confirmed by the PwC report. I mean u cant generate 6.5 billion of fake revenues where no cash was received and still pay all your obligations. That makes no business sense at all. They most have written off big amounts of bad debt. So at the end I think it will lead to a way higher NAV then what we have currently in the books. But only time will tell.

Market still trying to make heads or tails of information provided. Numbed... Experience. Now is just the time for a personal message from Heather to give perspective and write her thoughts.
Should expect that with financials.
Interesting to see some critical writeup from seeking alpha and others.
The elephant will always be the legal quantum.
Regarding debt. How much has this gone up by. Or do we await restructuring discussions to better understand. Apart from Seifert obstructuring the report finalization of phase one at least provides more info into steinhof than was previously known.

I'm inclined to say "rubbish".  This is what happens when you trade and as a result focus on share price instead of the underlying business value.  Share price does not tell you too much about the company's true worth.  Neither Polly, nor his Mini-me Lionelza1, or indeed anyone can accurately call a company's share price.  If they could, the would be dollar trillionaires and not lounging on ShareChat spreading misinformation as fact.

Polly, what exactly do you mean "thats why share price is languishing"?

In a previous post you also mentioned that the share could jump up or could drop.  Talk about covering your basis?  You need to choose one, buddy and tell us what you are staying.

Irrespective of the real value of this company and the trajectory. The report and restructuring supports resurgence. This creates a trading opportunity. Don't look a gift horse....

It says: " But in December 2017, Jooste's sudden resignation and the announcement that financial results would not be released as scheduled pummelled the share price. The company revealed previously undisclosed debts, which by the middle of last year had pushed up its total debt to nearly €10bn (R163bn). Steinhoff has spent most of the time since selling off assets and drawing up deals with creditors to stay afloat. "

yea Tom lets hope it stays at 10bn......but this company is full of suprises which some are ignoring to accept and as a result misleads with their posts

Financial statements
The Company currently anticipates publishing its Group audited financial statements for 2017
and 2018 by 18 April 2019, subject to any delay caused by the challenge to the SEAG CVA.

http://www.sharenet....seq=1&scode=SNH

DTD i put this up again for you and Cappy, as you both question why i am not confident with dates..........can u with any degree of certainty tell me that AFS will be out 18th April? because steinhoff is NOT confident

So how can you ouks challenge on this?
