XAU/USD, Spot Gold (updated 8th Nov)

The location of (4) is moved to the low point. The chart indicates favorable conditions for this having recently arrived. The forces of sentiment typically involve fear of the unknown or, in this case, an absence thereof. This driver is based on superstition which tests the involuntary instincts and keeps them on their spook-fearing toes.

JSE, Gold Mining Index, J150 (updated 06/11/2019)
As it turns out, there was a need to inflict further pain as the leading diagonal exercised its right to more space. The RSI was caught snoozing but the commodity channel index showed itself to be alert to the danger.

XAU/USD, Spot Gold

Within the Primary wave [3] the Intermediate 4th wave for Spot gold, XAU/USD is reviewed due to a perceived inadequacy of alternation with Intermediate wave (2)...   more at:

Does anyone know what the results of the rigged Old Mutual "ballot" are claimed to be?

The affected Funds are said due to be tossed out on Thursday, like baby with board of bathwater

and not a peep to inform investors.

But its not quite the investor abuse of the century, just common or garden bone-in-nose totalitarian savagery.

Even if it were criminal there is no longer any prosecution authority, so no charge, no investigation, no crime.

Gangsters paradise is now gold plated.

The word is that Old Mutual have decided at the last minute of the 11th hour to keep the Gold Fund (unit trust) after all.

It remains to be seen if they will remove the cap they put on it.

As for the  Resources Fund it seems all that is left is a pool of blood in the town square.

XAU/USD, Spot Gold

Wave 2 extended as the world waited for the futile Fed. November is good for gold. The Fed is good for nothing new.

JSE, Gold Mining Index, J150
This take of the JSE Gold Mining Index sees an extended and painful start to Intermediate wave (5).
The cause is the usual pain called the Fed. Looks like horse colic.

Snippit,

I hear you. I also think that the slowdown in global economy will in inevitably lead to share market downturn with Gold as save haven and hopefully the gold shares will then also increase.

Let see what happens.

Hi all.

Do you think the pullback in the gold which resulted in heavy pull back in gold shares (Anglo Gold in particular) present a buy in opportunity into gold shares or are the feeling that there are more pain to come (downside).

Regards

If only the Fed would have weekly rate adjustments then the market would overdose and kill itself off until something real arrived. The kool aid binge is ludicrous. The reality is global economic slowdown. It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that jerking about with interest rates only benefits the banksters and buy back directors bonus brigade. It does nothing for the economy. In fact the Fed is only making it impossible to get any economic recovery going.

Whatever the impact of the Fed trying to get Trump re-elected, it will not last very long at all. Just another fart in a tornado.

GFI completed its 4th Intermediate wave of Primary wave 3 at R66.49 on 16th Sept.

Then completed Minor wave 1 of its 5th Intermediate wave at R87.75 on 11th Oct.

Then completed Minor wave 2 at R79.63 on 22nd Oct.

It tested the upper resistance at R88.35 on Friday.

Now it goes for the breach and beyond to complete Minor wave 3 of Intermediate wave 5 of Primary wave 3 of this full grown bull.

It tested the upper resistance at R88.35 on Friday as Minute wave 1 and Minute wave 2 can typically find support at the 50% - 61.8% retrace level.

The break out and test c/o the US erudite sector, sadly decimated

Gold Spot XAU/USD

Update 24th Oct:
Back to the daily chart XAU/USD for a reminder of how Intermediate wave (3) was formed. The test of the resistance has a lot going for it and is virtually unstoppable. As is well known by all, the Intermediate wave (5) has a typical target of being equal to wave (1).

Morning Midas.

Little bit of profit taking don't you think...? Some or other uncertainty Brexit...Big mouth Trump...New car sales in Euro region missing analysts numbers...?

Could be all or just one but people who've been in IMP for couple weeks even can take a nice chunk of change home.

Would not be overly concerned looking now seems to be moving back up.

Don't fully follow IMP as much as previously...Hope it helps.

Cheers.

OMG, I just seen commodities reaction to a very predictable brexit day...I'm starting to think this all crazy gambling..been studying this while..but only predictable thing is not predictable

Daily chart for IMP indicates corrective wave minor 4 in Intermediate wave 3 of Primary wave 1. Typical price action is similar to wave 2 but if price drops into wave 1 territory then its a recount. In that case the probable take for me would be the end of a Primary degree B-wave and the commence of the end of everything.

What you do with this opinion is ask yourself why you are unable to help yourself and if it is all too overwhelming why not take up some other pastime.
