It is rather irritating that some have more info than others. But it's the way of the world. Nice to have these shares in my portfolio....like burning coal though difficult to hold

Looking at yesterday and today movement and volumes it looks like something has leaked regarding the refinancing.

If they get approval from lenders IN I agree with you we can see a significant increase in the share price.

So tomorrow is the deadline with lenders, if lenders give more time I think the share will rise nicely. Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.

Well June will either make or brake the share.

If creditors pull the plug the company will go into business rescue and u basically will loose everything.

If lenders give support and provide an extension of the credit the share will go up again for sure.

This share could be delisted in agreement with creditor and then sold off piecemeal. Be a sweet R3 offer per share... Or could there be a r10 offer per share..... Especially if remedica could be sold for R6-r7 billion???? I may be smoking something.....

I am loading.. Not only because of chloroquine. That was initial. But all their product lines are pumping and they considering a restructuring which may include a delisting and sale as they massively undervalued. I think the buys price will be r3_R5, remedoca expected to sell at r7b, with Rand devaluation and recent products success.. Also their test approved by sahpra. So amazing time tk bug cheap share

I see there is news on internet that they are going to prescribe and approve the use of more hydroxychloroquine in Brazil and USA. And even Donald Trump said he is using it as prescribed by his GP to prevent infection. So I also decided to buy shares. Hope it will help Ascendis Health if there is going to be a bigger demand.

Some nice studies coming in defense..

Expecting the asc updates on their tests.... Has anyone heard as yet?

Question: Among patients with coronavirus disease 2019
(COVID-19), is there an association between use of
hydroxychloroquine, with or without azithromycin, and in-hospital
mortality?

Findings: In a retrospective cohort study of 1438 patients
hospitalized in metropolitan New York, compared with treatment with neither drug, the adjusted hazard ratio for in-hospital mortality for treatment with hydroxychloroquine alone was 1.08, for azithromycin alone was 0.56, and for combined
hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin was 1.35.

None of these hazard ratios were statistically significant.

Meaning: Among patients hospitalized with COVID-19, treatment
with hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, or both was not
associated with significantly lower in-hospital mortality.

Meta-analysis of the evidence on hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19
Univadis Medical NewsApr 24, 2020

Following the demonstration of efficacy of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) against SARS-CoV-2 in-vitro, many trials have started to evaluate its efficacy in clinical settings.

Published in the Journal of Medical Virology, this week, is a systematic review and meta-analysis of seven studies (n=1,358) to evaluate the safety and efficacy of HCQ alone or in combination in terms of ‘time to clinical cure’, ‘virological cure’, death or clinical worsening of disease, radiological progression and safety.

Two studies reported possible benefit in time to body temperature normalisation and one study reported less cough days in the HCQ arm.

Treatment with HCQ resulted in fewer cases showing radiological progression of lung disease (odds ratio [OR] 0.31; 95% CI 0.11-0.9).

No difference was observed in virological cure (OR 2.37; 95% CI 0.13-44.53), death or clinical worsening of disease (OR 1.37; 95% CI 1.37-21.97) and safety (OR 2.19; 95% CI 0.59-8.18), when compared to conventional treatment. Five studies reported either the safety or efficacy of HCQ with azithromycin.

The authors conclude that HCQ seems to be promising in terms of radiological progression, with a comparable safety profile. However, they say, more data is needed to come to a definite conclusion.

Protocol for most treatments in America.

This is what the experts say.. Even if not the only drug.. Definately will be added to all stages and as a second drug as part of cocktail
