PS flow investor chart
1. Invest as price drops thinking value therein ( overdone the word used) without analyzing or checking how deep the hole and why their is a hole.
This emotions is called " G R E E D "
Price falls lower
2. After a few months models used using historical figures to add to holdings. More greed
Price continues to fall
3. The the wait for PWC report , 2017 and 2018 AFS and lockup/creditors agreement.
See the big hole finally but used word expected and more added. Point is proves models used is false and misleading.
4. One in a million investment cost/investment starts around R20.00 then R10.00 , then R5.00 then R1.8 and now finally +-1.25...now fully invested
5. In meantime forward looking prices talked about anything from R5.00 to R20.00 and even back to ATHigh..
6. A share is priced on Stock market not on past earnings but id say 2 year future earnings.IE what the market expects 2 years from now...and price near ATLow
7. In meantime reading the thread the word " H O P E" is being used in every second post... Hope this and hope that happens ..Hope hope..
8. Thats absolutely normal human emotion from anyone investing in a one in a million investment and trying to beat the market with the emotion of ' G R E E D "
9. The next emotion after hope will be ' P R A Y".... Im sure 25% already at this stage
10. Then follows the emotion of " A N X I E T Y "....Maybe another 25% reached this stage...
11. The the worst of emotions hit called " F E A R"... Maybe a few already experiencing this..
12. and finally the emotion of " R E G R E T " hits... If Only.....
Once you reached that stage its game over as an investor!!
Good luck...better encounters out there to invest in.. Take the opportunity cost of money and to hold this 3 years does not made sense or cents!!!
Just reading through the thread today is one way traffic from all invested... No one invested see the remote of chance that this one will fail hay!!
Some alternative views :
1. All the talk of Pepco or Milo whatever etc...Increasing stores does not mean higher bottom line. Chasing turnover does not mean bigger profits
In todays recessionary times most of the established retailers throughout the world are restructuring , closing down stores retrenching staff , moving from high rental areas to cheaper rentals etc. Opening in HIGH Street means astronomical rentals to be paid. Not a very clever idea especially when you work on a small markup targeting budget lines and customers.
2. Talk in PS thread of Pepkor USA and Europe.. ok Europe is on the road and expanding but see 1 above. Now has the South African retail model ever worked elsewhere in the world for any of our retailers? Ever? Show me one successful one? Just one... More hope i say.
3. One post " The reason I am invested in SNH is for the Pepkor Europe there are 500 mil people in the EU 10 times more than in SA
so Pepkor Europe will become much bigger than Pepkor SA!" So if Shoprite goes to India or China where their population is 500 times more than South Africa will you invest in Shoprite on that basis? Why is Shoprite not going that route?
4. and i love the "Cleanest AFS" and " one of the Strongest retailers in the Worls" part.....More hope or a non event? or fact or fiction? getting carried away boys TOTALLY!!!
5. All the pumpers are seeing is $$$$$ but funny market not seeing this at all....Someone is fooling someone... market does get it wrong sometimes so
i H O P E for youlls sake its the Market thats wrong.... Will keep youll in my prayers....
Haha this is a good joke!!!!
