I am closing KIO in auction at 17:00. It has completely reversed and is now a strong bear. Might add a short order tomorrow.

Any technicals on Jse Ltd please?Share is tanking today,im bleeding bad! how much lower can this share go?
Hi Julz
I don't see a turnaround yet (no Divergence and no break in downtrend ). There is more downside to come, with the whole market still bearish.
I also hoped it would hold it's uptrend, but it was not to be.
There will be better entry points on JSE in the weeks to come. (like PPC and BAT), but the longs are very few.
I wouldn't be long on JSE for the time being.
Just my 3 cents

Hi P
Any technical thoughts on ASR please?
Its basically out of all meaningful indices- most recently MSCI EM index- and hasn't followed other iron ore stocks higher
thanks
Hey Francois
ASR is showing a lot of divergence and has broken out of a long term wedge (10 June). It is testing this long term resistance line today @ R110-50.
With all the divergence, I believe it should find support @ R110-50 and start the run to it's new resistance level. This is a big wedge pattern it broke, and it will be a strong run when it starts. A successful close above R110-50 today should be a good entry point, but I often see shares testing it for a couple of days or even following this line down.
It is not far from changing to bullish, so one up day, might trigger a bull trend. I will check it again tonight after closing.

What are your thoughts on SGL guys?
Deciding whether too cut my losses and run or wait it out. Trading at R18.50 now and not sure how low it will go

Hi Everyone
Attached is the spread sheet for today, with a couple of new orders and some long positions being closed.
The financials look they are in for a beating, as a lot of them are entering strong downtrends. Only KIO and EXX have made bull entries.
The portfolio still has a net long position, but this should change after today.
Happy trading
P
Apologies in advance if you have answered this question previously, did you develop your buy/sell indicator model yourself or is there some training seminar that teaches this? If the former, what are the chances you took a group of us through your method (at a fee). Of particular interest is how you accumulate your buy or sell indicators?

Hi Gents
I am off for the weekend, and have attached a spread sheet for next week. This is also an update for the week that ended, and the portfolio made a loss of 0.35%. Next week will only be 4 trading days, but hopefully it will be a better week.
There are 2 positions I am closing (REI and TBS) have both not holding their trend on the first day.
Enjoy the long weekend.
P
You deserve the break my man. Enjoy yourself!
You better know when to hold on, know when to walk away and know when to run!
