I do believe we need more than just a trade update for the price to go up.

FYI, the price was at R3,80 a year ago with a lot less info, which in my opinion has been quite positive. At worst, accurate and assertive from management.
The reasons for dump was probably due to du preez’s comment about not being to trade out of this.

Let’s hope for a decent financial performance and accelerated progress on litigation.

Also, I have not lost a cent as I haven’t sold anything. Remember this and also that there’s big difference between trading and investing.
Most investors add to their portfolio when price drops.

This is still a worthwhile high risk investment for me.

And what I've learnt from Polly the troll is how the market will suck u in and spit u out... Experienced it... This seems the same as absolutely nothing has changed

My apologies, something has changed, CVA implemented and most expected share price to rise instead it got dumped

- Buy the rumour sell the fact (love that one, learnt from Polly), market sold the fact

- Now we see market buy in, i saw that happened before, market will suck u in then spit u out, learnt from Polly and experienced it

Pump is on, why? possibly for q3 results i dont even know when that will be released as i have stopped following, what happens after q3? i am guessing market will sell the fact and we might see new lows

from a share price of R3.8 to now current R1.14, pretty obvious this has been in reverse gear for a year already.......nothing to be excited about

litigation is still there, debt is still there, all other concerns are still there, pump is on?

Now run to admin and put in your complaints, like u got Polly banned

my useless opinion

U seem to misunderstand most of the time hey... I was not requesting a loan.

Ive been on this share and saw R3. 80...current price R1. 14

Htf is the pump on?.....sheesh

"unless u have the balls to spare me some cash to play now? "   OMG even worse, you don't want a loan. you want a donation.  please contact your nearest ANC parasitic representative, for a small reference fee they would give you a ticket onto the gravy train.

in God we trust, the rest pay cash. I am not adequately equipped to determine your credit worthiness. Sorry can't make you a loan.

and the sideline rugby mommy cheering for any team depending on which way the wind is blowing, not really committed, but half-empty, and insulting a management team way above his entry level capabilities.
Your partner Tom predicted the end-of-the-world with his 'in-the-end-I-was-right'. Incidentally the strange behavior to proof you are right inherited from the pinky and the brainless. A Noddy badge to both of you for being right.
Grow a pair dude, it is OK not to be always right, learn from it and move on.
Glad you took over from the troll.
Factually no one cares what excites you or me for that matter.

Nothing has changed, doesn't excite me to buy in,unless recovers and break R2... Accustomed to the all too familiar pump and dump

Perhaps a rumour that litigation in snh favour will see this share kick ass (I'll buy for that) ... Q3 results will not make litigation and all other issues go away

30 Million shares only on Xetra, 9 Million on Jse, Tradegate 35 Million, LS 4 Million, frankfurt 2,3 Million. So make that around 80 Million shares traded to get the price up 25%.

Imagine now big buyers jump in and we see volumes such as 500 Million. Where will the price be in just one day?

Almost exactly one year ago on 31 Aug 2018, Steinhoff hit its 12 month high of ZAR 3.12

The 12 month low occurred 2 days ago on 19 Aug 2019 when the share closed at ZAR 0.97 (I believe that intra-day it hit 87c although I cannot confirm this).

Where will it be in August 2020?

Regards

Captainfrom82

Also could be I think there are lots of people on the sidelines watching and when price moves they scared to loose out and buy creating a shortage of shares. We need to see what the USA open will bring.
