I've been looking at a better cfd strategy, not this day trading chasing your tail stuff anymore.

Still busy researching and analysing data regarding ex divi prices. Ie, day before ex div just before the day closes, you short.

Likes of bhp looks positive, as it drops nicely, but no effect on Anglo,I'm still busy with my analysis though.

Thoughts on this as a strategy?

Pity i leave for Cape Town next week....

 

As far as property counters are concerned , they not in favor at moment....but this cycle will change so if you long term just continue to hold...

 

Ive being buying delta, texton and L2d....adding on dips....give away prices.....Built substantial holdings now....also red ....i can hold for minimum for 3 years so not concerned as juicy dividends

 

I can finally stomach holding for long even when things are dipping...learned to have patience.

 

Oh BTW   I will be in CT from the 25th to the 6th   So lol - I go down to DBN today....

I will be in DBN this week   (Let me know if you want to meet up LOL - Joking hehe)

 

I invested in Greenbay Properties (not a large sum 50K)

 

Recently I received money for a capital redistribution = R27K

 

Thereafter Co. changed its name to Light House Capital and they did a conversion and now I am at a R28K loss

 

Greenbay is also being investigated for share manipulation

 

 

Any thoughts/views?  I will take it with a pinch of Salt

if you look at the penny small cap stock thread, this is what i referred to when a fund sells if you on wrong side you cant get burnt.

Funds dont care 2 hoots about price when they sell....just get out..could be competing with another fund to get out too..well bottom may be reached but its a real long term investment in my books

I agree with Polly, look at her list, all quality shares and buy cheap, why spend your money on cheap rubbish. Personally Id buy 4 different shares with your 400k. You wont make a quick buck, but at least you should see profit whereas those cheapies likely throw money down the drain. madness!
