Just saw bottom of npn sens expected earnings expected to be 209 to 216 %higher than previous earning period..Also elsewhere  tc going to sell pc games indo, Thailand Malaysia sing etc...

best sit on hands....watch alsi...if 45600 ( bulls support zone) breaks to downside , opens door for 44800..means npn gets the stick big time...We in a bear market and every likelyhood get whacked rest of this month.

 

These one day US stock market drops are incredible in magnitude , over and over between fake head rallies in small volumes. Sell the rally has been the play and will be the play

Leo 2 more interesting points :

 

1. newbies plz note... A good brexit deal for the UK does not mean UK stocks will go up..far from it...actually means ftse will go down which then means we go further down too

 

2. BTI is a defensive share and this may help you being long...When rest of markets crashes, liquor and cigarettes shares  move the opposite direction....more like bulls trying to drown their sorrows

BTI is not a short term punt...If you think it is , you are tryi9ng to catch bottoms , which could 750....700...650...600...550....500

 

today closed at 492...nothing stopping it from going to 450 or 400 for that matter... This is a long term investment recommendation and not a cfd play....

 

Talking of alsi in the alsi thread, someone mentioned 43800 was the EW low..Im my opinion we are in a bear market and can go substantially lower  then that... Look at the charts i posted in this thread over the weekend on alsi and s&P..Actually frightening where we can go....If that happens this can go to below R400.00...

 

Remember i also said npn can go to R1000.00...Hold on to your hard hats or make sure your seatbelts are buckled..

Wonder why naspers didn't go up more after 1645 sens.Thought 35-32% higher would have created a big rise. Do you have any ideas of upside before 30th or santa rally?.. naspers pink is now up about 1.78% but think you said don't pay too much attention to that and its in line with JSE today Thanks.

NPN is not priced on earnings but purely on its investment on TC...

 

Even if you look at earnings , its PE is way above 52...so a 40% increase in earnings will mean an actual miss...In normal circumstances any company with a pe of over 50 means its earnings must grow by at least 100%  a year to sustain such a pe ratio..
