You've got a short memory Lionel....she is only reining in her bad manners in to try to win people over for her purposes as she was so out of control most people were disliking her and she needs her credibility... Yeah Choppies is risky can go both ways. Will see what the afternoon will bring.

 

I have a questions regarding DAWN, What do you think about that share Polly? They reduced debt levels to close to zero and they have strict cost reductions in place. They even had a successful rights offer a year ago at 1 rand per right. But currently only trading at 5 cents. . .

Dear Polly

Thank you for your professional advice and training. If it were not for you we newbies would be at much lower risk and might even learn something.

 

I was really happy when I found this Sharechat platform, as it's helped me as a "newbie" really learn a lot and creates an opportunity to engage with others.

This bad-mouthing and fighting recently has become so irritating that I do not visit the website much any more.

 

I'm not sure what the history of this site is, neither know what everyone is talking about wrt conmen, etc.

If you are approached by a member asking money for something and you pay, then it's your own stupidity.

 

I wish everyone would just attempt to add value together.

At some point Polly has come across a bit strong-minded and "passionate", but has been correct with their predictions in most cases.

The analysis and train of thought with regard to specific shares and why the price might be dropping really helps.

 

As a newbie learning the ropes the charts you provide are really not helpful to us, and its like trying to read Chinese.

It also seems that these charts are mostly reactive, and you need to be able to interpret the patterns to guess for the future.

This will definitely be helpful to more experienced traders.

Newbies cannot do without the type of feedback that Polly also provides as these chart honestly adds zero value to us.

 

So if Polly and Snippet can't sit around the same table I would wish that we could just have two separate threads, and everyone can learn how and where they want.

Firstly remember trading and investing is different. Bet you know that by now.

Secondly again  im sure you are aware this is not financial advise but opinions

 

Today we had a big bounce/recovery in NPN..+-10% while TC was up +-5.8%

Reason for bounce :

1.Could be that msci  adjustment to allow free flow market capt rate

2. could have been one hellva short squeeze to negate that hs i pointed out on my chart to target of R100.00 . If negated target now shoots to upside to well over all time high.

3. very weak zar

 

So here we sitting with a fundamental and a technical reason.

 

Remember its was a very bullish day today even without npn as all world markets rallied.

 

THIS NOW BRINGS US TO A LOT OF POSSIBILITIES:

 

1. has low been put in by the alsi

2. Is US back up into bull trend

3. is the worse over for TC

4. facebook  results last night was a market beat so markets believing tc results will also be a market beat

 

Heres my opinion :

 

1.  No....bug fat cat rally. Give a day or two back to towards low

2.  No..todays play is typical bear market play in US..swing are huge one day red and another day green. Just too much volotiality and the S&P has still below the key 200ema moving average on the daily. Until that is taken out i will be bearish. I havemt looked at volumes today on this up move but normally the volumes on up move has been lower than the dow moves

3. That hs that i posted was in the weekly chart. So come at of the week, who knows if tc will still be below the neckline

 

4. and here is they key : TC reports in Mid Nov....that will give you the biggest clue as future of tc and to a greater extent NPN. facebook had its problems but still beat market expectations. Question is with all this Chinese restrictions in gaming imposed , how will this effect TC going foward.

 

My estimate is that npn is trading at a 8% discount to the sum of its part which is not huge like before.At one time NPN was trading at a lower price than its value in TC alone. Any earnings miss by TC will effect the valuation of npn badly.

 

So id would rather wait for tc results and make a decision thereafter. IN meantime im still bearish npn from a trading point of view as i consider today a dead cat bounce and extreme short squeeze.
