This Share hasn't made me rich (...yet...), but it has taught me patience... in spades. Combined with my SNH patience, I should go to Tibet and teach them a few things. All good things come to those who wait...and wait I shall

Could see the share price adjustment once the shareholder email goes out with all the actual information Mark said they will share?

Not sure when this will be circulated though

Looking at the 1h charts, without any news forthcoming, we might be heading into that deadzone of sideways movement that we had mid-April to mid-May where we traded in a narrow channel of 1 or 2 cents.

Except we are 10 cents up from that period. But nothing will probably move from here until Shareholder meeting and hopefully acceptance thereof.

Usual pump and dump. Great that still settled 10% above . Market waiting for forecast and valuation. And animal health transaction which is imminent. Great that its nog business rescue...and we not at 2c.....market will start to buy more..over time...pension funds and institutions appeased that br averted. Many may look now to reduce their averages. We think there may be potential hostile takeover if ifc links up with another entity...can never trust anyone....

Not sure if we still pumping and dumping, but it was a sluggish first half of the day but nice to see large volume trades ( upwards of 50k ) coming in the latter half with a decent gains for today.

Trend is your friend - can't argue with that - just look at the 1 year chart. It does seem like ASC hasn't turned the corner just yet. Surely it will be soon - strange given the strong push by the Ascendis Activist Investors. What if they weren't pushing so much.

I know it was said that technicals don't play much of a part at this stage.

But all the indicators from 5 minutes up until 4 hours are indicating that is downward pressure on the share price. For me it helps dealing with if I can expect it

Nope at that time was waiting for 30c..but missed the jump to r1.65...i am 80c average ..

It really bothers me that shareholders in most companies today are so happy to settle. Management is not being pushed the right way to perform they are just there to make a buck and chuck.

Why you feeling crap that you bought when Andi started this thread and this thing was at R4. Mark your buddy managed to bring it down to where it is. Ask him for help he seems to be good at it. Maybe pay some more penalty interest more consultation fees or more head office costs. Same like Steinhoff. Just ask the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. I don't have to do anything they already there to destroy value.

Ok so do you know for a fact that they did not seek other funders including those from the East and if those funders would have in fact approved their funding?
What is the link to Nedbank and why would they sell it immediately?

Regarding Remedica, an extract from a recent SENS:
"Although the Company received indicative offers for Remedica and Sun Wave, they were below the Board’s initial
expectations."
So are you saying they should have disposed of Remedica at a value they deemed below fair value? Do you know how far below fair value the offers were?

I don't work there but Mark worked for Nedbank Capital he worked for Ethos he will sell it to a Private Equity buyer no bank will take this asset onto their balance sheet unless they have a private equity vehicle to house it. I recall sometime back that Nedbank was looking at it or had some involvement or transaction with Ascendis. He hasn't told us what his done so by default we will assume that he did nothing. They have the appetite for these sort of things but its quite evident that the consultants that he is using are the glamorous ones. In any event he is not doing anything miraculous for us as shareholders and hasn't done since he joined. But created this scenario where the only exit is this option presented.

They could have replaced debt immediately like I said that there are number of Eastern banks operating in SA and did they engage with them no. So what i see is this will be given to the banks they will sell it immediately to Nedbank private equity and we loose. But we pay the fees. This guy was never interested in fixing things up. He started with the sale of Remedica over a year ago did nothing and changed the dialogue to this. Sounds very poor to me after incurring all this penal interest etc.

But how can they do this if the creditors won't give them room to move?

Half year normalised EBITDA of R794 million translates into an annual number of R1 600.

Net debt of R6.5 billion.

Interest at 6 percent is around R400 million.

Without any growth the cash available to settle debt will be around R1 billion. Use this cash to settle debt. In 6 to 7 years the entity will be debt free.

With 1.6 billion EBITDA after 7 years on a multiple of 10 you get a valuation of R16 billion.

Current market cap is around R330 million.

But how can they do this if the creditors won't give them room to move?

Not sure where you saw the insult as none was intended. I was merely pointing out the lack of actual input but your character shone through with the "gul(l)able eyes" comment.
I would love to hear more detail around how you think they should do it better with actual facts and figures? So far its all hot air and vitriol.

No need to insult. I can't see anything positive contribution from anyone here really. I just see things like Mark is such a nice guy like we dating him or something. He is doing a job and there is nothing spectacular that he is has done. So what am I supposed to pull out the pom poms for him like the rest of the happy clappers. Ascendis is down and out compared to where it was so catch a wake up. There is a reason for it and Mark is that reason. The day that I see a management team adding value to my back pocket I will praise them. But please stop with this undue praise for someone that has put the wool over your gulable eyes.

I'm loving how we are almost an hour into trading and not a single share has traded. Sellers are not budging as this price. If you want it, come and get it!  :D  :D  :D
