Dankie Squideye. Me thinks it is going to become close to impossible for the ex TT folk to get Steinhoff liquidated. My rather uninformed view is this will not happen.

I really don't know how they can call themselves journalists if they don't do their homeworkThe news is inaccurate for example below TT has not winned in fact its looking not very good for TT old boys
These legal fights were all quite small in comparison to the latest assault in which the Tekkie Town vendors won the legal right to apply for the liquidation of Steinhoff in SA in an effort to pursue their rights.
Another missunderstanding: TT old boys can only get 57% of Tekkie Town the other 43% was paid by cash.
There is a real risk that Pepkor could lose Tekkie Town, an important asset and contributor to profit

our journalist at it again. How is Tekkie Town the main contributor to PEPKOR specialty division?

The reason why I am think that is why did they not apply for the liquidation last year or the year before. So why now!! sure you you have a booming business they could just go for the GS and wait 3 to 4 years and the share of SNH would be close to they buy in. On the other hand if Mr Tekkie is not doing well they will be loosing business to to Tekkie Town so they need to knock out the competition!
See below all I count is 36 Mr Tekkie shops in SA not sure this ix a roring business!

TT are going to wakeup to a very bad dream!" Fin24 previously reported that Tekkie Town claimants would receive around R110 million, which Tekkie Town's former CEO Bernard Mostert rejected as insufficient"
This was as at may... so R65ish mil legal cost... ouch indeed

Nice summary. No opinion on the article by the writer. Just the facts.
Indeed I start to think TT old boys are having sleepless nights!!

I agree fully. What kind of judge does that? But what I don't understand is: why the case in her court is still ongoing while there is an appeal to the Bloemfontein court.
Does this mean everyone still want to hear whether she has changed her mind about last weeks ruling or what? Does she have the power to declare the SCA appeal nil and void? Anyone with an answer for clarity sake?
Meanwhile, back at the Ranch, the TT boys are piling up the legal costs. According to one interview with Moneyweb on 13/9 it is already north of R65 Mil...Outchhhhh!!!!!
